Hello! if you're on this profile (which I kind of hope someone is, or I'm really wasting my time here), then you've already gathered that I'm Dizzybella1995. Since I'm a minor, I can't give out my age, or details, sorry, but I can tell you a bit about me. I started using fanfiction.net years ago (my parents don't know, 'cos they think that I should be spending my time doing normal teenager things or studying. Sorry peeps, but Facebook is just plain boring. Why would I care if a complete stranger has updated their status?) because I needed something to prove I wasn't the only person who was kinda in love with Snape. Then I got a bit addicted.. and since I want to be writer when I'm older, I decided that now I'm not studying for exams in 10 subjects, I could start creating fics of my own. As stated above, I want to be a writer. Or a journalist, or something writer-y. I reckon being a shadow -writer has its appeal - you don't have to be in the limelight, but get the satisfaction of having done something. I guess that seems a bit daft, but I'm a real wall-flower so its the perfect deal for me. I'm currently living in England, in the middle of scenic nowhere, at a boarding school ( I go home at weekends), but I'm really half-Irish, half-Scottish, and was born in Germany in a British military hospital, so I'm not exactly sure what I class as. Neither's anyone else, though, so I suppose it's not so bad. Besides, the look of confusion on peoples faces when I tell them all that is awesome! My username comes from a modified version of my mum's name for me when I was little, cos I'm really disorganised and chaotic... Ok, likes and dislikes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE books. All except teenage romantic crap and The Book That Must Not Be Named. I actually like my books to have a plotline, y'know? At the moment, I'm rereading Breakfast at Tiffany's, cos it's beautiful and I like Fred, obsessed with "The Forever War" (read it or I will spork you to death: best sci-fi book I've read in ages), and still overwhelmingly in love with Harry Potter, Discworld, Dan Brown, Neil Gaiman, Sherlock Holmes, Isaiac Asimov, Lord of the Rings (even though I haven't reached the bloody end yet cause it's so looong), Hunger Games, pretty much everything else... Shakespeare and F. Scott Fitzgerald are my buddies on Saturday nights, put it that way. Tv is Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin, Wallander and historical documentaries all the way. I am also in love with Mycroft. I don't care if he is gay, he is a super-gorgeous genius. And power is the ultimate aphrodisiac... I don't have any time to watch films (too busy reading or mucking about online or ogling Mark Gatiss' arse), but I am crazy addicted to music. Spend every penny I have on music addicted. My iTunes wish list was at 465 last time I checked, and I will listen to anything but Justin Beaver and his female equivalents (whoever thought up Justin's South Park death, I want to marry them.). There are some things in this world that are just plain ungodly, and "Mistletoe" is amongst them. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to write at the moment, but I'll keep you posted. Here's looking at you kid(s)! Valetes, Dizzybella1995 |
