Eddward hadn't known why Kevin called him at first and upon seeing the bloody crime in Kevin's garage? He knew the logical option was to call the police and get the situation addressed, but the child in him didn't want to give up the hope that maybe he could help Kevin. Perhaps he could cure him of his illness….what was one body to dispose of, after all? Between friends?
