![]() Author has written 1 story for Boondock Saints. Wow. It's certainly been a long while since I ventured in to the world of fan fiction. But, before we get anywhere with this, I suppose I have to introduce myself. Well, my name's Jess, short for Jessica, but let's be for real for a second... I hate that name, so I will plead with you... Don't call me that. As it stands, I'm eighteen and will be this age for another nine months. Fun. It's been a long while since I've written anything that I've found to be worth sharing with the world. And as proud as I am of my writing abilities, it's not too often that it happens. Although, I'm very proud of my first fan fiction, my writing styles have changed drastically, and feel that I can do much better, as that particular piece of work was written two years ago. Looking back on it, the characters are completely out of themselves, although it certainly does put a trippier effect on things. Aha, I like to confuse you. That's my job. Right now, fan fiction has kind of drifted away from being a hobby and become kind of a necessity. Feedback is really appreciated on everything because reading and writing fan fiction is a way for me to get ideas, and come up with a nicer writing format/style to actually come up with an original novel that has been in the works for the last year and a half. Honestly, I feel that I need more experience with writing in a novel format before I can come up with something original. Well. anyway. I have two stories at this moment, but hope to come up with more. Lies Between Us: As previously mentioned, this was my first venture in to the novel format, and so it's not great. It's not that it's not good, but I think it could stand as a original story rather than a fanfiction as the characters go out of their personalities a lot. If you'd like to read it, I ask you to read as both a FF7 Fanfic and a stand alone. CloudxOC - Riley is an Ex-SOLDIER with mental problems coming out of every orafice known to man. You find that she's a clone of the woman that she thinks she is, goes absolutely insane, along with Cloud (Yes, Cloud goes bonkers again.) and goes on a mission to destroy the very fabric that keeps Shinra Inc. together. Lots of things going on in this one, with many, many, MANY plot twists. Seriously, I think it'll make your ears bleed. It's all over the place. Read it if you must, but review it as well. Falling In To Grace: In Progress - MurphyxOC - I've been working on this particular story for a while. In fact, I started writing it not long after I put Lies Between Us out, but it's been reworked at least three times since that point. Eve is the daughter of a very powerful Irish mob boss, and she has been instructed to take out the Saints, as they've become a nuisance to her father's business. Eve is strictly Catholic and prefers to stay away from her father's line of work, preferring instead to enter the field of vigilante justice. She meets the Saints on a hit of her own, and things go wrong. She's injured and the Saints rescue her from certain death. She's to earn their trust and kill them, but some romantic and friendly attractions start to prevent her from doing her job, risking her own life for the men she's supposed to kill. Will her heart prevent her from doing her job, or will she mercilessly kill the Saints to prevent her own death? News from the Underground - 11/07/08 - New chapter added to Falling in to Grace. I think you'll like it. Also, thinking about writing another FF7 fanfic, probably revolving around Reno... Yeah. Reno is my red-headed skank... Thinking of reusing Riley, actually and making a prequel to Lies Between Us. Unfortunately, lots of editing is necessary for the original. Or maybe not, I dunno, I'd have to read through it. Also, if you have any suggestions for stories, lemme have it. I WANT YOU! To give me your opinions. Don't forget to review whatever you read, because it's helpful, yes. n.n 01/20/2009 - It's been a while guys, and I hope that you've enjoyed what you've read thus far. If not, sorry? But I've added Chapter Ten to Falling in to Grace and it's a bit short, but I think that it fits the direction of the story very well. My life has become increasingly hectic so if you read Falling in to Grace, I plead for patience because of what's been going on. If you have any suggestions for the story, feedback, or ideas for new fanfics, you can either contact me by e-mailing me or you can contact me here. I appreciate the patience, and I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks guys, hopefully I'll be seeing you soon. 04/04/2009 - Today, I added another chapter. I hope that you guys are liking what you're reading even though it's seriously taking forever. I just recently had to start the search for a new job, add that on to leaving state in less than a week, plus all the stress from beforehand, and you've got a shit-ton of fun! Except not really. So, once again, I'm asking for patience. Also! Thank you for those of you who've reviewed and for those of you that added to your favorites, I really appreciate it. It makes me feel good, so keep it up. Constructive criticism is welcome, as well as any thoughts, or ideas. Annnnd, hopefully I'll get to add a few more chapters tonight. Happy Spring! Stick around. 04/05/2009 - So, it's two in the morning and I've written and added three chapters. Hopefully that will keep you guys occupied for the next couple of days until I can get another one in. 11/23/2009 - I'm the worst person EVER! I'm not even trying at this point, and I think it's time to admit that. In June, I found out that I was pregnant, and at this point, I'm seven months along, expecting a beautiful, healthy baby girl, so I've got so much on my plate at this point. Between planning for my baby girl, whom I've decided to name Riley, and planning a wedding, I have zero time to write. Work is cutting back on hours for me, though, so that may open a time slot for writing. Thank you for your patience, although a friendly forceful e-mail might get me back on track. 05/10/2010 - GUESS WHAT! I finally updated Falling in to Grace. I want to thank all of you for your patience, and for still keeping this story on your favorites. I think that you'll like the new chapter, considering where I left off, I think it was the best way I could write it. I hope the new chapter doesn't disappoint. My wedding is this Saturday, so after that I'll have more free time. :D |
