Some Things about me:

I'm an aerospace engineer. Yes, I'm a rocket scientist. :) Really.

In my profession, I am taught to lace creativity with science. This being so, I don't have many opportunities to really stretch my imagination's legs, so writing allows me to exercise that part of my mind. And it is that trait that makes me good in my profession. I became an engineer because I loved innovation. I love expanding the world of the impossible, seeing something greater ahead.

Knowing this about me, then you can understand what the simple act of reviewing what I write, bad or good, means to me. I don't write for you. I write for me, but I probably won't continue posting what I write unless I've got reason to. If it's crap, then I don't what to waste your time. So to elaborate...

I despise "review soapboxes" but if you knew me, you would understand what difference a small review does to me. I'm an engineer and am constantly reminded how inadequate I am by those better than me, so when I write fanfiction, I am essentially trying to forget the things of this world and encase myself in another. So when I do a good job, it absolutely makes me go crazy when you let me know. It warms my heart and it keeps me writing. I don't bother reminding you to review during my stories, I feel that if I truly did a good job, then you would be eager to click that little button down in the bottom left hand corner and tell me so.

Some notes:

I have a crap-ton of fanfiction just sitting on my computer, most of them unfinished thoughts. Some of it has a lot of potential, and one day I hope to finish some of it and post it. But you should know this: I don't post anything unless I already have it written. So if you are reading something of mine, know that some kind of end is already written up, and I will finish it. I have never not finished something, and choosing to not post fics unless they are completed on my hard drive is something I do for the reader and myself.

Most things I write are rather dark. Be warned. I'm a cynical person who's had a lot thrown her way. I absolutely love seeing a character engulfed in the darker side of life and overcoming it.

I'm also a single engineer, which means I'm not getting layed. Therefore, most of my stories will have something sexual in nature in it. If you are under aged, do not read. My stuff is generally not too specific, but still, you have been warned.

Here is a disclaimer for anything I write unless I am submitting original fiction (which don't really count on that due to my completion policy): I don't own any rights to the fanfictions I write. I simply use the characters and layout whatever my imagination sees fit. They all belong to brilliant imaginativists, and that does not include myself.

If you were the last of a race, wouldn't you have these kinds of thoughts? Aang, even though he's the Avatar, is still human. He feels and fears just as everyone else, and on the day of a life-changing anniversary, the airbender allows all his anxiety to come to the surface. I'm honestly a little surprised he doesn't freak out about it all more often.

InuYasha

The past is a haunting thing. Its very memory can transform a person into a completely different being. This is a look into the past of the sons of Inu-no-Taisho and a future with the people who links them all together. All's fair in love and war.

The Deal:

This is a story of explanations and beginnings, of family and endings. Sesshoumaru intrigues me, and in this story, his past and InuYasha's future entwine to bind the two more closely than either care for. This story will be updated if enough interest is showed.

This is a short snippet of one of my lengthier stories. The whole story was incomplete and I didn't really know where I was going to go from its current point, so I decided to post this as an independent piece. If I ever get around to finish that story, you will see this segment reappear.

This was a random thought that popped into my head around the Holidays. I thought it was delightful, so I posted it here. The founding seven spend the Holidays with their own dysfunctional family. It is simply my interpretation of how Christmas would be after they finally found their own peace.

For every moment in time, there exists a multitude of possibilities. This is just one of them. This features a variety of pairings based around Shayera, even if I don't even care for them. There's something for everyone.

Within this piece you will find different possibilities laid out. This is simply a place for me to place my ideas of how "happily ever after" could occur, even if it isn't that happy. Shayera is my favorite character, so most likely anything posted here will be centered on her and probably will be romantic in some way. The theme is infinite possibilities exist in a universe until those moments become memories. The future, after all, has yet to me written.

An InuYasha alternate reality fic. I don't normally dabble in AU, but this one just popped into my head and I just had to write it down. This piece takes place in a world ruled by youkai, where miko and houshi are rare treasures among the human race. The house of the Inu no Taisho, Sesshoumaru and InuYasha, establish their authority through fear and destruction. That is until a miko with brilliant blue eyes and a forgotten prophecy turn the carefully constructed balance of peace upside down to bring youkai and humanity together to defeat a terrible foe that threatens all living creatures. I hope to post this story here, but I'm not entirely certain if I will. If this story interests you, let me know and I will get on trying to get it done. Its currently at 120 Word(R) pages, and probably 75 complete. This story will have explicit scenes, so I will most likely post a tame version here and the original version on MediaMiner.

I write what I can imagine. Even if my mind tells me a tale ending in sadness and woe, still I write. I may not always like what I write, but still I write. When all else in this world fails and your dreams seem so far away, there will always be the empty page...and I will answer the call to fill it with my words.
