My name is Heather and I love writing. SURPRISE.

I've fallen in love with the non-stop process of identifying as an author. I can't define myself because I'm constantly changing--adapting. Growing!

If you're interested, feel free to browse. I do warn you that the majority of my material is dark, angsty, and oftentimes non-heteronormative.

Fun facts:

I decided to create this page primarily to keep my material organized and active. Secondarily because SOMEONE was skeptical of my "I'm writing" excuse. ;)

As an author, I feel like my worst habit, or addiction you could say (And no, stereotype enthusiasts, it's not Genius Juice. I write sober just fine. _), is my flagrant inability to write without music appropriate for the emotional ebb and flow of the scene. Finding the right song takes time that I don't have and really shouldn't waste. It's tedious work, I tell you! TEDIOUS.

I have edited all stories to remove explicit content, gratuitous gore, and Grade F profanity to broaden the range of my potential audience. (And in hopes not to offend/embarrass/mortify my family.) _

Fhang, Tourniquet, and Undertow are all based in the same universe. Fhang, which takes place roughly 14 thousand years ago, comes first. Undertow comes last, claiming the mantle of most current and socially relevant novel. That's as close to modern and conventional as I come, folks.

The Arkanimal and Everlivean concepts delineated in the stories were created over several hour long sit downs at Sushi Gen. I can't imagine what the owners think when I come in and cover their booths with spirals and notes, spending the entire time between bites scribbling... "That girl come here too often. That girl need boyfriend."

Muse and Mecca, a fanfiction for Pitch Perfect, is based in an alternate universe. Science fiction/fantasy for the win!

If I was to play favorites, which I don't, but if I DID... my Kylo fic, a highly prized SW project of mine, would take the cake.
