Weird things are happening way out in the deserts of New Mexico. A small town of animal-human hybrids mysteriously arise due to a freak accident. Michael the Fox tries to escape from the local officials, who are known as The Murder, and who were once a flock of crows. He ends up in the human world, and gets caught up in strange and illegal adventures with his human friend, Nathan.
