Poll: What kind of story should I make in the Sonic Universe? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 8 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog, and Pokémon. Sup bros? Rewriting my profile since it's like a few months old! :D Name: It's too unique. Bet ya if you type it up in Google you'll find me. So stick to Gamyie. Age: 14 (Birthday 8/19) Gender: Female I basically only write fanfics about Sonic The Hedgehog 'cause he's awesome like that! I've been a fan for about two years now... I think. I'm moving on to high school but strangely not excited for it ._. Anyways I'm practicing my drawing abilities and learning Japanese at the moment. Kinda moving slow since I'm trying to learn their goddamn alphabet... I also listen to Vocaloid and watch animes. They have to be packed with action or I'll just bore myself. I'm also horrible in writing romances much less couples so I barely write that... Maybe hints, but that's about it. I also barely read them. The fanfics I write are mainly Sci-Fi with a little humor, action and adventure. Then again Sonic is technically Science Fiction so of course my stories are gonna be sci-fi. Least Favorite Character: Amy Rose Favorite Character: Silver The Hedgehog Uh, what else should I write about... What got me into the 'wonderful' fan base of Sonic The Hedgehog? I believe it was when my best buddy Regularsonicfan and I dared each other to watch Sonic X. Then the cursed curiosity of the human mind caused us both to further research on the Blue Blur. What did I think of the fan base when I first got introduced to it? Pure epicness. How did I feel when I got to know the fan base? ._. Don't you think that's a bit too passionate? Got any other interests? Nope, I'm a nerd like that. How do you feel about the Sonic The Hedgehog fanfictions on FF? They can do a whole bunch better than it currently is. Like the clichés, AU, OOC and OC's really needs to get controlled. How would you describe your personality? Well most of my friends say I'm really passive. Did I want to be like this? No. Am I aware that I'm running out of questions? Yes, yes I am. How Important Creativity is to Writing As an author I cannot stress the importance of creativity. It is extremely crucial that all authors understand that: The whole point of writing is to enjoy the experience of expressing yourself. Instead of copying the 'cliché Twilight theme', try and make your story THE NEXT BIG THING AKA THE NEW CLICHE! Fame is not the goal. It is, as I said before, enjoying the experience of expressing yourself. Never make stories just to gain audience. Make them to show others what you are capable of. That you can go beyond the norms without giving a crap. If you are making stories to gain audience, then what is the whole point of writing when you aren't in control of the story. It would be the viewers, not you, who will be considered the authors. Finally, making twists is very crucial. If everything goes as expected to the viewers, it would ruin the whole experience.Eg. Twists vs. Predictable The girl was walking home from school. It was chilly but also enjoyable. Within a minute, she entered her house then plopped down onto her bed. "Mom! I'm home!" "Okay honey!" The mom replied. Ver. 2 The girl was walking home from school. It was chilly but also enjoyable. Within a minute, she entered her house then plopped down onto her bed. "Mom! I'm home!" There was no answer. "Mooom?!" She got out her bedroom then slowly walked towards the kitchen. There was normally the usual noise of pots hitting each other. However, it was silent. "M-mom?" She began to see drops of blood upon the titles. Knowing that the situation was worse, she followed the trails. She then saw a shadowy figure looking at something on the ground. Taking a step closer, she realized that it was her mother's corpse in a pool of blood. "Your neeeext..." I am aware that it is rushed. But can you tell the difference? In the first version you most likely sighed mentally knowing that the story was going to be a drag. However, in the second version, you probably felt a bit of interest since you wanted to know how it ends. Also, notice how I used the famous cliffhanger. That is also a technique to leave the audience intrigued to hear the rest of the story. |
