This story starts where season 4 ends (ignoring the season 5 premiere and promos). Andy is forced to deal with the aftermath of the Kevin Ford fiasco, struggling to make major decisions that could have a permanent affect on her professional and personal life.

AU - After an accident on the job, Andy wakes to find that she only remembers one day out of her entire life: the day of the accident. When Sam discovers she doesn't even remember her own fiancé, will he seize the opportunity to win her over the way he should have to begin with, or will he be his usual noble self and settle for friendship while pushing her back to Luke?

This is a multi-chapter story set in the post-5.11 world. Most of the main characters make an appearance at some point, and each chapter contributes to an overall theme that will be clearer after the first chapter. My apologies for the rather vague summary . . . .

When the two of them start running into each other- literally- on a regular basis, they need to figure out how to navigate their new roles.

What if it was Sam and Andy who were stuck together inside the art gallery after being covered in the heroin laced with anthrax (instead of Andy and Marlo)? This is 4.05, but with a twist for all of the McSwarek lovers out there who thought that season 4 was difficult to watch.

Set a few months after 2x08. Andy decides it's time for her to get her life back on track, time for a fresh start. A take on how Andy and Sam might have come to be together had the UC op never existed, but with the fun drama that we're used to.
