Lestat/Louis based on the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. During their stay in France over two hundred years ago, Lestat commissioned no small number of self-portraits from the most talented artists he could find. The day he figures out he can take pictures of himself with his cellphone is a little like that.

Follows immediately after the final scene of Interview With A Vampire, where Lestat has kidnapped interviewer Daniel Molloy. Clearly, Daniel has something of a morbid fascination with vampires/death wish. Perhaps this makes him a more fitting recipient of the 'Dark Gift' than Louis was? Lestat certainly thinks so...

After Akasha's death, Lestat is very different. Louis tries to understand why his Maker, the man he loves with all his black heart, is no longer the same, but Lestat is not so friendly and things easily get a little ugly...Vampire Chronicles story for my favorite VC pairing: Louistat!
