Sans walks into Dr. Gaster's office and fires a blaster at him. Gaster hires him. The Physics Department, and specifically the Core project, has no budget. Good!Boss Monster!Gaster, Depressed!Sans, Alphys with laser guns, cinnamon roll Papyrus, Grillby the deadpan snark lord, menacing eldritch abominations, souls, EXP morality and mad scientists.

After Asriel dejected the SOULs, they were sent back their rightful owners. All of them, humans SOULs included. With 6 newly revived humans tagging along, the monsters leave the Underground to live new lives upon the surface. And that's not even the hard part. These six humans have a lot to relearn and get used to and they're gonna have one hell of a ride doing it.

Sans, Edge, Screwball, Blaster, Geno, Outs, and Death are seven versions of Sans that assist Core Frisk and Swapped Papyrus to save the other timelines.
