Santana and Quinn's hopes of a peaceful and relaxing summer at Santana's grandmother's in Florida are dashed when the rest of New Directions invites themselves to join them.

At first the only person you see is a little girl standing there, her long blonde hair in braided pigtails. Then you finally see who is standing with her. Brittany nervously shifts her weight from one foot to the other, "Uh, hi Santana."

Brittany is perpetually cast as the dumb blonde, but the reasons behind her demeanor are more complex than that. She looks back on her childhood, her relationship with Santana, and the life-altering effects the decisions of her youth had on her future.
