Author has written 2 stories for Teen Titans, and Naruto. February 2009 Wow, I just reread my profile and I have to commend myself - I'm awesome (and obviously I have a bloated head). Just a little note to anyone who happens to glance upon this page, if you really are interested in me please know I don't actually use this account very much any more and in fact have gone back to my first account. Even so, I don't actually have any stories up on that account (yet, I plan to post up a few nibblets so I can qualify as a beta reader. Considering how long I've been on this site, it's really a travesty that I'm not one already) and for the moment they're all here on this account. If you want to get in contact with me my email for this account is no longer in use, instead please send any messages to: treefearie07@yahoo.com In the meantime I hope the rest of my profile and my 2 stories might amuse you! Thanks for stopping by!! Old Profile I mostly read on ff.n but occasionally I write a one-shot, whether or not I post it however, depends on many other factors which often do not cooperate. I try to find interesting well-written fics and have read quite a few that were really heart wrenching. You can find some that I like in my favorites. Reviews (because I want to) The Lazy Uchiha Part of the Naruto series, it is utterly brilliant! The whole fic centers around what it would have been like had Itachi been a lazy (albeit still incredubly talented) ninja instead of his usual take-orders-then-finally-kill-the-whole-clan self. The one major change in it is that Itachi doesn't kill his clan! I really liked this fic because deep down I think we all really wished Itachi would not have killed his clan and traumatized his little brother so. (then he could have stayed in Konoha and the girls would have more chances to oogle him) Overall this is a witty, well written fanfic with nice, long chapters :3 The only down side is that the authorupdates in spurts but I suppose we can overlook that for now. Connected Another Naruto one. This is a Hyuugacest fanfic that's mostly fluff with a few kisses, nothing too passionate. It's well written of course and the heading of every chapter keeps me wanting to read more, not to mention the story line's not that bad and I have a soft spot for this pairing. Starts off a little angsty but the thing that struck me most when reading this was that the characters around Hinata and Neji didn't seem to mind that they were in love and were first cousins. The only one to really object was Hinata's father and he pretty much disagrees with everything Hinata does, doesn't he? (not that he's mean, just strict w/ high expectations) This is a sweet and short story that's not very complicated and makes you smile. Or, at least, it made me smile. Oh! and it's completed so you can read it all the way through without waiting for chapter updates. All Girl's Sasuke Naruto again. As soon as I read the summary I knew I would be hooked, and I was. This story gets straight to the point, or at least in the beginning it does. No guessing who the new student is. It's told from Haku's pov and to tell you the truth I think it's just about the only Haku-centric fanfic I've read, although it does center around Sasuke as well. I can guarentee that if you read the summary and like it then you will not be disappointed. The strange thing about this fic is when the writer updated on a regular basis (ages ago) she stopped updating at this one chapter and it really really seemed like the end--she didn't update for months! And then she starts writing again, with apparently more to add to the plot. My suggestion would be, if you like it, read it, but know that it will most certainly not be finished any time soon. Draconius Errare Harry Potter for a change of pace. This story is absolutely delightful! Unless you are looking for something that sticks strictly to the realm JK Rowling imagined are dear magical friends in, then this story is utterly amazing. It doesn't deal too much with God but a lot of archaic beings appear in this fanfiction so if you like angels and higher powers then this story is most certainly for you. Although Draco bashers should beware, Draco plays a key part in this story. For the rest of you it is an amazing story! I have to tell you, I never went looking for this story but when I found it what really hooked me was the intro. I first discovered it when it was still in the making. It went straight into the prologue and after reading it, it put questions in my head and was quite mysterious. However, at that time I was engrossed in another fantastic story so I just put it on my "To Read" list and let it sit. A while later I was looking around and I revisited it and the dead give away that Draconius Errare was a great fanfic was evident in the intro by the author. Right away I can sense this person has a good sense of humor and she obviously put a lot of work into her story. It's a nice, complex story that can be a bit sad but it has a happy ending. Also, I would like to note it isn't slash, but there are some definent hints in there that got me thinking. The rest of you yoai fangirls will know what I'm talking about. This story is one of my TOP FIVE. Galatea D.N.Angel I have to tell you this is the mother of all heart wrenching stories, I have ever read. It is a KradSatoshi fic that does not involve seduction, abuse, or manipulation on the part of a cold twisted Krad...okay, maybe a little. It's full of trust, betrayle, lusty moments, there's a lot of heavy thinking and doubt, even some gore and death! I swear this has something for everyone, somewhere in the story. Primarily though, it's a Romance story centered on guy-guy relationships so if you have a problume with that this isn't the story for you. For the rest of you--OMG I cried so many times in this story, it got me completely wound up and emotional and I can't wait for the Sequal! Overall, this story is utterly amazing and has earned a place in my TOP FIVE for being utterly and amazingly brilliant and wonderful. Also, a warning, Sage of Angst (the author) definently lives up to her name. Like I said this is the mother of all heart wrenching stories, and no it does not have a happy ending...sniffle...and it never will...sniffle, sniff :( Puppet in Pink Naruto again. This one is Sakura-centric and is full of violence, blood, lots of hate and plotting. For those who like to skulk and sulk this one's for you. It's well written too so you don't have to deal with all those misspelled words and grammatical errors just to get some gore and darkness into your day. Puppet in Pink is a completed story with an equally completed sequal, Bathing in Blood. I have yet to read the sequal but it literally promises lots of fights, blood, violence, gore, blood, and more violence. And now a shout out to Understar, the author--thank you for writing about the darker side of Sakura and having her kick Sasuke's ass, while you were at it. We all knew, it needed to be done. An Unacceptable Sitch Suprisingly this one is Kim Possible. I found out about this story via an artists (Rinacat of deviantart.com) recommendation. She did some artwork for the story and it seemed interesting so I looked into it. The story is post-high school crimefighting days and into the college-study-hard-and-not-a-hero-anymore days. Suddenly, Kim's easy days are over as a worse-for-wear Shego shows up and collapses on her doorstep. Being the good ex-crimefighter that she is what can Kim do but bring her in and care for her? Thus, a new story begins. An intertaining story, I mainly read it for the experience but I've found I like KP fics as well. HUGE note: this is a femslash fanfic meaning, girl-girl relationship between Kim and Shego. No lemons though, as they are prohibited by ff.n This story is completed and has a sequal called Green, Black and Blue just so you don't get confused as there are a million stories on the authors page. Should you choose to persue the story further after Green, Black and Blue there is No Living in the Past and after that there is But For the Grace of Ron and then there is If You Build a Better Monkey and last is Under the Milky Way Tonight. Sorry, it's actually 6 stories. Today (July 21, 2006) all five of them are complete ( I personally have finished four of them, and they are good) and the last one, Under the Milky Way Tonight is under construction. A Mind of His Own Hikaru no Go This story has a lot of suspence suprisingly. It's well written and while it doesn't captivate you the way Galatea might it has an intrigue of it's own that demands you notice it whether or not you get pulled into the story. It's a rather sad story and i think it has a lot to do with trust and disillusionment, and perhapse sanity as well. It's like the kind of story you can read and leave but it niggles at the back of your mind for days on end so you can't forget it. It's a good story and I recommend you read it and see what questions it raises in your mind. This story is completed. |
