A bit about me:

I'm probably too old to be into fan fiction. I only just discovered its existence a few years ago. Although I'll read stories in several fandoms (mainly sci-fi/ fantasy), Lord of the Rings is my favorite. I'm usually a little picky about what I'll read: consistently horrendous spelling and punctuation usually makes me stop reading fast, as does misspelling characters' names (not typos, but consistently doing it) and making major mistakes with important canon events. Small mistakes, I can live with and have certainly made MORE THAN a few of my own...

A bit about my writing:

"Out of This World" is (horror of horrors!) a crossover story between The Lord of the Rings and Star Trek: Enterprise and my first piece of fan fiction. Constructive reviews are appreciated, of course, but please try not to flame – I’ve never posted a story online before! The idea for the story hit me one night as I was watching an episode of Enterprise, and hasn’t let me go yet. I can't update as fast as I would like, mainly because Real Life can be annoyingly insistent sometimes. I mean absolutely no disrespect to the Enterprise writers, J.R.R. Tolkien, or their characters with my writing.

The Latest: 07/25/2006:Well, some of you may have noticed Out of This World was updated a few days ago, until I noticed a major glaring mistake. I guess this is what happens when you aren't an experienced creative writer and attempt to write long stories without ever having been able to locate a beta reader. I probably lost a bunch of readers. I'm attempting to fix this... Please bear with me... :) I have definitely been learning what NOT to do, and have a nice long list now.
