Hey, and welcome to my bio. For those of you whom actually wish to read this I will try to give you some interesting facts about myself.

I'm not that interesting, but I do believe that most people will say that about themselves.

I'm 25 living in the middle of the Midwest with my husband and our cat.

I'm aspiring to be an opera singer, which in the Midwest will get me nowhere fast, but it's still a fun passion of mine.

I'm an avid Tolkien lover. Have been since I was a child and my parents would read "The Hobbit" and the LotR trilogy to me. I vividly remember making my step-father re-read Bilbo's party to me over and over again when I was 8.

When my friends and I were in the 7th grade (though we were already fans of the books) and we discovered that the LotR movies were to be made, we freaked out and learned how to write in the Dwarvish Cirth runes. Throughout Junior High School, all of our notes were written that way so if the teachers ever caught us, they wouldn't be able to read them (though we were never caught).

I don't write very often, only dabble here and there. And it takes me a while to be truly comfortable enough with something before I post it. I'm currently tinkering with a Hobbit piece that is my take on the overly-done (but I will still always read) girl thrown in LotR/Hobbit. But I love the ones that would be a 'real' take. I just finished the first chapter, but need to find a Beta and also come up with a title. Any volunteers? :)
