Since discovering it in 2005, it has changed my life for the better, opening me up to reading and writing fanfic, watching and making fanvids, watching some great actors (David Tennant is the best actor ever), and singers (John Barrowman: Another Side is the best album ever), some great friends who I like to keep in contact with (though sometimes I may slack off a bit), a boyfriend who's even more obsessed than me (squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!) and of course some brilliant television. I encourage people who only watch the new series to get into the classics - they really are amazing. I live in Sydney, Australia. I always get excited whenever Australia is mentioned in overseas TV. I have a younger brother who still thinks my obsession with Doctor Who is weird. All I can say is that it makes me happy. My dad is a little sensitive when it comes to incorrect spelling, grammar, punctuation, pronunciation (if you pronounce it "pronounciation" he will hunt you down) or asking obvious questions, and I have inherited some of these traits. Gwen cheated on Rhys with Owen. Gwen admitted to the affair, then retconned Rhys. Gwen would have kissed Jack on her wedding day had he not been a Nostravite. I found two novels and an old information book (the 5th Doctor was still around when it was published). Then I looked in my local second-hand bookshop. It had nine. Then at Christmas I was approached by my uncle, who told me he liked Doctor Who at my age and had piles of books, which he'd be glad to pass onto me. Talk about hitting the jackpot! And lately I have acquired more from that book shop. Every time my dad finishes one of the second hand books my grandma gives him, I take it in and exchange it for a Doctor Who book. Old obsessions: From the ages of about 9 and a half to 12 I was obsessed with writing poems. They weren't very long, they'd always be the same style and they'd be on any topic. I'd like to share with you what could possibly be the first poem I ever wrote. I did it when I was 5 or 6 years old. Being homosexual is not something you choose - it's a chemical thing, determined in the womb by a variety of factors. You might think that if you're a guy raised with a bunch of older brothers, you'll be pretty macho, right? In fact, the more older brothers you have, the greater your chance of being gay! Anyway, I honestly cannot understand what is wrong with being gay. Two gay people being together does not harm anyone else. Acts such as abuse, rape and murder are illegal because they hurt people and are committed out of hate, but homosexuality is about love. Love is the most precious gift that human beings have, and if you are lucky enough to fall in love and be loved in return, then it shouldn't matter what gender you are. Personally I'm looking forward to the 51st century, when anything goes and there are no categories. You've got to try this it's so much fun!
