Author has written 3 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender.

And now it's been even longer. I'm 18 now and I just finished watching A:tLA again. Brought back old memories. Maybe I'll write something again eventually.

An BTW, I apparently did not understand what agnosticism was 2 years ago. Or theism. I'm a straight Atheist, if you were wondering. And I'm not deleting my old update because I thought the description of my old story was kind of badass.

From 06-11-2008

Wow, I haven't been here in a long time -- it's kind of like opening an old journal, really. I've changed a lot since I actually needed this place to get by. Although writing here really brought back my love for writing, I haven't really written much since I left, certainly not Fan-Fics, anyway. I've kind of been thinking about coming back -- but frankly I don't think I'm enough of a Fanboy anymore to write anything worthwhile... oh well.

Let me fill you in on a few things about me that have changed since I left:

I'm not morbidly depressed anymore... sort of...

I'm 16 and a Junior

I'm agnostic theist now, which is like being atheist, but less confrontational

Other than that, I probably wont be here often enough for you to care.

I'm deleting the first chapter of Memories -- the whole thing was just too long, too complicated. Besides, when I rebooted my computer last year I lost all my work and I don't really remember enough of the general story to write it again. For those interested, here's how it would have gone (if I remember correctly):

The Fire nation created a series of four genetic experiments (one form each nation) to create "perfect benders" that would lead their armies and help them take over the world. This was all about 50 years prior. About 15 years prior, they even tried to synthesize a new Avatar through genetic modifications using various nation's children as test subjects. The Fire nation "perfect", who had been cultured and educated privately by the head of the project (due to her "superior" status as a Fire bender), thought that this was wrong and used the other perfects, who had been trained to follow her will regardless, to bring down the research facility responsible for the experiments, and kill all the would be Avatars. Unfortunately, she lost her stomach after she saw Wolf (the Air bender perfect, her lover, and my favorite OC) kill most of the experiments, taking the last remaining one as her own -- that would be the main OC, Enma (I wikipedia'd death gods)

The Fire perfect was always called Boss, except by Enma, who called her Mom. The Earth one was Worm (he actually rejected his earth bending, since his fire nation keepers looked down on him for it, calling him an unintelligible brute, instead choosing to read books and become a master of technology), and I think the water one was called Siren, and she was a succubus that turned into a fish-like demon in the light. Enma was a bastard child who constantly looked death in the face as the Fire Nation secretly tried to kill the group of failed genetic experiments. Wolf is a ninja, always wrapped up in fine cloth that covers his face and his whole body. His minute control over the air allowed him to even control sound waves, and therefore what people hear, making him a master of deception. His power kind of works like Toph's, except he can see through the air, instead of the earth, making him ridiculously hard to kill.

Here's the big secret twist thingy -- the power the Fire Nation used to create the perfects was actually some arbitrary spirit... object, thing (I never really got that far) that sort of, held the power of life... or something. The point is, for ever soldier they make using it, the power is divided up more, making it weaker. If only one person has it, though, they become immortal. (highlander, anyone?) Wolf is the only perfect who knows (I was still working out why). The trick is that Wolf is behind the scenes through the whole story pulling strings to make sure that Enma is the one who receives the power (the moral, or whatever, is that immortality sucks, especially when you're a mass murderer with a guilty conscience), so he doesn't have to live forever (I made their genetic code or their prenatal Pavlovian conditioning or something responsible for them not being able to kill themselves or just let themselves be killed). He manipulates the Boss into faking her own death and putting the blame on the rest of the perfects so that Enma will come after them. He also manipulates Enma by teaching him only to bend metal (he was from the Earth Nation), telling him (as everyone else still believes in the genetic modifying thing) that he is different from everyone else, like he's some sort of monster.

BTW: Enma's armor is a special compound that is very strong, but easy to bend. It was thought up by Worm and completely fit his whole body when it was made, as he was just a kid.

And that's where the actual story kicks off! See I haven't even started yet and it's 3 paragraphs long. See why I quit? Actually the rest is pretty simple. Enma kills Ty Lee and Mai, giving Azula a good reason to want to track him down for the rest of the story (this was so I could have her and Zuko fight to the death at the end) . Then he meets up with the Gaang and tries to steal Appa to make his search easier. That's when Wolf steals Appa and makes it convenient for them to travel together. Siren just happens to be in Ba Sing Sei (I can't remember if I'm spelling that right) and Enma kills her without much trouble, gaining lots of power in the process (now he can bend regular metal more easily). Wooo!

I can't really remember what happens next, but somehow, Sokka gets seperated and goes on a side plot line with Zuko, and the rest end up on Worm's artificial flying island which if full of devilish traps and whatnot. Toph waits outside with Appa. After Enma rather bluntly kills Worm (who went back to work for the Fire Nation, I forgot to mention, hence the "traitorous" thing), a huge evil robot thing awakens and starts breaking up the place, in the process killing Katara and removing Aang's right forearm. Afterward, everyone (remaining) goes to the Western(?) air temple with that one sage guy who tries to awaken Aang's avatar state. From there, Enma steals Appa, unknowingly taking Toph along with him.

This is the scene that got me to start writing this:

They get in a huge fight, and Enma figures out that he can bend earth, while Toph figures out that she can bend metal. They have a conversation about the mysterious knife given to him by Mom/Boss and how he's such a monster to have killed all those people. Toph is sympathetic, understanding what it's like to be outcast. And they kiss! Of course, being an emotionally repressed sociopath, Enma freaks out at the sensation and beats Toph over the head before running into the woods. Here he meets up with Wolf, who uses his air-trickery to deceive him... Toph walks up (she doesn't see the concealed Wolf) and Enma, thinking he's caught Wolf's slip up, thrusts with his blade, right into Toph's chest. As she collapses on the ground she tells him she loves him, but dies before he can say it back. His trap successful, Wolf coyly walks up to his mortified and immobile prey. Just before he can strike, however, Enma forces all the metal he has on him straight into Wolf's chest, then shoots tiny pellets out of every inch of his body from the inside, turning his white clothes red...

I thought it was really cool, and more than a little sad...

Anyway, I don't really remember what happens after that, but Zuko and Sokka become friends, Zuko kills Azula, and then somehow finds out about the immortality life force thing. Enma, on the other hand, realizes why his powers have been increasing, a deduces that his Mom is still alive, then goes to the site of the destroyed research facility to fight her to see her. It's very teary because Boss knows that she is dooming her "son", but is too afraid to suffer the fate herself. She attacks him, and he is forced to fight back, killing her with the knife she gave him. The site of the facility collapses into the volcano it was built on, and Aang comes and picks Enma up on Appa.

A decade later, after they have defeated the Fire Lord, Enma goes to Toph's grave site and attempts to kill himself to be with her, but of course, fails. Zuko explains why, as he had kept it a secret from him over the years, afraid of the hurt it might cause him, sometimes just not believing it to be true. And at this point I would sum up the grim reality of Enma's fate and end with a tale of him wandering the earth forever in perpetual masochistic blood lust... ect.

Well, there you go. Glad that's off my chest -- now then, I'm going to bed...
