A heartbroken Fenris storms into Skyhold, blind with pain and fury. All that is on his mind is revenge for Marian Hawke's death, and answers. Varric is just as heartbroken as Fenris, and when Fenris has Lavellan's heart grasped in his lyrium fists, Varric forces himself to awaken from his depressed state and the two find peace in grieving together.

Halloween fic: During a long drive to Tokyo, Kagome's car is totalled by a monstrous silver dog. She now finds herself stranded in a remote village, where the residents appear kind, if slightly distant. However, something or someone seems a little too keen on making her stay, permanently.

"Did-Did Sesshomaru have a kid?" Kagome wonders, utterly baffled. Inuyasha sniffs the sleeping child, who looks like a mini-Sesshomaru. The kid has the strips and the crescent moon and everything. Inuyasha's nose twitches in disgust. "Oh, hell." "What?" Kagome questions, "Is he? Sesshomaru's kid?" Inuyasha scowls and snarls, "Even worse. He IS the bastard!"

After getting dragged even farther back in time, Kagome can't get back again. To make matters even worse, the only person in this time who she knows doesn't seem to have any interest in helping her get back. In fact, if he has his way, she'll never leave at all. But when events take a turn for the disastrous, it'll take all their collective skill to make things right. SKW2017
