After the Shattering the land was fractured, the heroes disappeared, and Malafor's armies crumbled to dust. The land lived on due to the heroes actions but they did not live to see the new world, until now. This story is a rewrite from a friend of mine's ideas called After the Shattering as he will no longer be continuing the story himself. All rights go to their respective owners.

Ten years ago, Cynder vanished into the night without a trace or word. Forced to accept his loss, Spyro eventually moved onto another female - Solaria, daughter of the fallen guardian Ignitus. It has been four years now since they've been together and now have a child to their name. Things look set for the purple dragons's life...until Cynder returns...

In the Year of the Dragon, the Guardians awaited the birth of the Purple Dragon destined to bring peace to the world. But He Who Is Known By Many Names sent his army to destroy the egg and retrieve another egg for himself. But things never go as planned, and his egg was sent down the Silver River, forcing him to change his plans. Curiously, the other egg contained a Purple Dragon.

The now free Cynder continues to feel depressed and is full of guilt, yet finds solace in her purple dragon saviour, Spyro. As the two continue to seek answers to who they are and who there separate parents are, an old enemy returns to continue his genocide against dragons by unleashing a great evil, yet Cynder is strangely needed by him and Spyro must ally to an eccentric tiger.

Aaron, a 20-year-old university student and intense video gamer, unique and hated by many people in his life, somehow ends up into a world of fantasy and magic to have a second chance at making friends. It doesn't go all too well, however, when he gets judged quickly and blamed for things he hasn't done.

After Spyro defeats Malefor, their is still much to be done. Mainly the continuation of the dragon race and making sure what Spyro has worked so hard to achieve was not in vain. This is much easier when Spyro discovers that him and Cynder aren't the only ones who survived the sacking of the Dragon Temple. But a new threat arrives which may endanger it all. Spyro remembers facing Malefor alone. But what if he had help? What if someone has stolen his memories and replaced them with falsehoods? Follow Spyro as his memories slowly return to him in a chain of events starting with him meeting Cynder for the second time.

Ever wonder what would happen if Spyro fell into OUR world? Well, he does with Sparx! He's found by an orphaned albino boy who longs to live with the dragons. Can he help Spyro, and more importantly, can he him along? Will they make it to the Dragon Realms or will the human world and the dark forces kill them? Warning: Spyro driving cars!

[Abandoned, not returning] Mysterious portals that appear out of nowhere are always a bad sign. During this, a young boy named Keiran who is already unlucky as is gets thrown in to a world he doesn't know. Will people help him? Ridicule him? Rune is a young dragon living in the new era of the Dragon Realms, 150 years after Dawn of the Dragon. When familiar faces arrive in the place he's called home for six years, he learns of a way to bring back someone he's lost. But he doesn't realize that he's at the center of a conflict left in Spyro's wake. Rate T for violence.

Two separate realms are stuck in a time loop with only a few of the beings living there aware of it happening. Though initially distraught from having to do everything over again and again, soon enough they begin to resort to some interesting ways to blow off steam and keep their sanity. Though no one knows how it happened, only one thing is for certain. Hilarity quickly ensues.

Matt, Martha, and Archer are sucked into a new world with no idea how they got there except a voice in their heads that promised to kill them. Even worse, the new worlds hero has disappeared into their world and they get roped into saving him. Follow these three teens as they fight their way on Earth and in the Dragon realms trying to find answers to their questions.-On Hiatus

A lone dragon with an element long gone explores the world repaired by the purple dragon and he will slowly find history about his past, and his element. It does not come without trouble, an entity from the war with a misguided sense of justice seeks to hunt the dragon and the Savior of the Realms... Spyro.

Note: I DID NOT WRITE THE FIRST 26 CHAPTERS. They were written by a friend who no longer exists on this site. That said, it has been adjusted with little bits and bobs of my own, therefore it is not the original. Immediately after the war for the realms, Malefor has been defeated. We find Spyro left to the temple with his secret love, Cynder, and the surviving Dragon population.

Light must have darkness. Darkness must have light. What happens when the greatest of lights goes dark?

Spyro and Cynder can finally live their lives like normal 13 year olds in a time of peace. But the war has left it's scars everywhere and a lot of work will be needed before they are healed. In this new age Spyro and Cynder will have to learn an important new thing: having fun. ON HOLD

Spyro was enjoying the one year peace after Malefor's defeat, but like all peace it ended when two young dragons arrive at Warfang's doorstep, bringing with them very distructive news.
