Hello, all! My name is Alexandra. Everyone calls me Alex or Lexi, though. I'm 21 and I'm from Washington State.

Raul Esparza is the best thing to ever happen to this world, so I write fanfiction for his characters. Just SVU so far but I plan to eventually branch out into Company and Hannibal.

Since I'm a lesbian, I tend to prefer to focus on same-sex relationships in my stories because I relate to them better, though I do have het pairings. I relate even better to M/M pairings than F/F- don't ask why. I identify as 100% female and everything, I just understand guys better.

I love animals. I can't imagine what my life would be like without them. I also love science; especially biology and engineering, music (I play the cello and upright bass), hockey, horse racing, and more. Buddhism is a very important part of my life as well.

I write on Squidge.org, Archive Of Our Own, LiveJournal, and many other sites. Basically, if you want to find me, you can find me somewhere. Feel free to come to one of those sites and read/review/fave/leave kudos over there if you prefer. I also have a Tumblr, where I rant, talk about RL issues, squee, make headcanon!posts, and frequently write fills for microfic prompts that I don't often post elsewhere.

My Fics:

I have written a lot of fics and will be writing many more. The only fics listed here are works in progress or those that are part of a series (and the series is only because this site doesn't allow you to group works into series like AO3 does: if they introduce that feature, I'll pull this off my profile page.)

Fic Series:

Fading Away series: Includes, as the title suggests, Fading Away and Flickering. Fading Away tells story of Rafael's last days as he loses the fight against lung cancer; Flickering is a series of oneshots to accompany it, taking place before, during, or after the main series. Many of the chapters will be extended or originally cut scenes from Fading Away. If the description wasn't enough of a warning, the series is incredibly sad and you will probably need tissues to read it.

My WIPs:

An asterisk indicated the fic is on hold for the long term if not permanently. For most of my fics, this is simply because I have lost interest in the pairing or my muses flocked away. For a few, it is because looking on them years later, they are horrid and I am too ashamed to continue writing them, and don't have the time/patience/inspiration to revise them either. In the case of Solid Ground, my writing partner disappeared. Sorry to those of you who enjoyed these fics. I will not be putting them up for adoption because I do hope to finish them some day, but if you would like to know what I had planned for the rest of the fic, you are welcome to private message me for details. I had pretty detailed plot maps for most of them.

I know it looks like nearly all my stories are abandoned now. Sometimes starting nearly completely over is the best choice.
