In this story I try to imagine what might have happened if Darcy had arrived at Pemberley just an hour too late to meet Elizabeth Bennet there while she was on her northern tour with the Gardiners. I had to make Georgiana less shy than canon so she can try to get them together again. HEA

Darcy never gets a chance to deliver his letter, as Elizabeth is recalled to Longbourne the very morning after his disastrous proposal. The Bennets are in a precarious position, but Darcy has a solution. Will Elizabeth save her family at the expense of her own happiness? This is a variation on the marriage before love narrative. An alternate imagining of Mrs. Gaskell's story, assuming Margaret had been hurt more seriously on the day of the riot. Intertwines elements of both the book and the BBC series, but focuses less on angst and more on the relationship of John and Margaret. What if... What if Elizabeth had taken the audacious step to write a response to Mr. Darcy's letter

Rejection - something that Mr Darcy wasn't used to. Women usually took one look at his wealth and fell at his feet for him to scorn. Love was for fools and he would never let it happen to him - not ever. ...But we all know what happened next.

Three years in to a blissful marriage between Elizabeth and Darcy and tragedy strikes. Darcy falls from his horse and suffers a head injury. The resulting amnesia causes all sorts of problems that ODC Will need to overcome to get back their relationship.

A small literary coincidence puts Darcy and Elizabeth on a quicker and easier courtship path, but as it turns out, marriage is only the beginning of getting to know one's life partner. A kiss in the heat of the moment changes the course set out for the couple as Elizabeth and Darcy are forced make an effort to be more open with each other. What will happen as they try to get to know each other properly?

Beauty lies, more often than not, in the eye of the beholder. But what happens when a certain Derbyshire gentleman sees things in a completely different way? A Regency AU with an eventual HEA.

What if Elizabeth didn't receive a letter from Darcy following his disastrous proposal in Kent? What if Mr Darcy received some worrying news that altered his need for a wife? Darcy finds himself in urgent need of an heir and his quest to find a suitable wife drastically alters the events of Pride and Prejudice. Will they ever be able to overcome their misunderstandings?

This Pride and Prejudice variation looks at what might have transpired between Darcy and Elizabeth, had Darcy not come to Netherfield in the first instance, and thus did not prevent the marriage of Bingley to Jane. It explores the ideals of romance and the realities of marriage in Regency society. It is also very much in need of a better blurb, and possibly a title...

The famous letter never reached its target. It is now 1814, and Elizabeth Bennet is desperate, desperate enough to seek out the man she scorned and accept a proposal from three years before... even if Mr. Darcy is not quite the man she remembers. AU, Regency.

Return to the world of No Good Deed with a twist - small changes escalate and take us down a different road to Will and Lizzy's HEA. What would Will Darcy's life be like if his father always believed George Wickham's lies? What would Lizzy's life be like if she was one of six children? Are good deeds still bad when they are altered? What will be the outcome of altered deeds?

A second glance at Elizabeth, and Darcy felt an immediate pull. In a library one evening, his guard dropped, and he couldn't help himself. While there is some romance and a happily ever after for our dear characters, this story centers more on the relationships between George Darcy, Fitzwilliam Darcy and George Wickham. Lizzy Bennet was never so insulted in her life. Mr. Darcy was never more captivated. A Modern P&P dedicated to readers seeking a faithful portrayal of our beloved characters. Mostly canon-compliant, but completely re-imagined! A good story for Regency fans who don't normally like Modern AU. Rated T for language and mild sexual content (so far.)

Darcy's horse casts a shoe while riding to Pemberley which causes him to miss encountering Elizabeth Bennet who is touring the estate. Thus he is unable to show her his change in behaviour, fails to learn of her improved opinion of him, fails to meet the Gardiners, and fails to learn what happens to Lydia. (Updates on hold for a week or two)

"One false step involves her in endless ruin. . . " In this story, one (literal) false step causes a chain reaction of events that will result in Elizabeth's forced marriage to Darcy. Now a completed story available for sale on Amazon. This is only the first three chapters.

The classic twist of Mr. Bennet dies, Darcy offers a marriage of protection, and he and Elizabeth must work through their pride and prejudices without being able to escape one another.

Reading P&P, Mr Darcy's feelings seem rather acute, but do not get much attention. This story explores them from the moment just after his rejection, to beyond his actual marriage. The action follows P&P exactly, but some secondary characters, most notably Georgiana and Mrs Younge, push the boundaries of Miss Austen's description. The style of writing diverges from hers ever more.

Six awful months and Elizabeth Bennet loses her respectability, her home and her hopes for the future. What she doesn't count on is Mr. Darcy appearing to help. His ideas are unorthodox, but he might be the only chance she has. ***Rating Change with Chapter Ten*** COMPLETE

Psychological manipulation is a type of social influence that aims to change the perception or behaviour of others through underhanded, deceptive, or even abusive tactics. Intrigued – beware this is strong T for suggestive, off screen themes. M rated story of the compromise on the backboard, explaining Darcy and Lizzy first night together.

Darcy does not accompany Bingley to Netherfield. Therefore, he does not meet Elizabeth until his first trip to Rosings, resulting in some major changes to the way their relationship develops.

Darcy's past hardships alter his views of love and marriage so much that he makes choices none who knew him would have anticipated.

Darcy abandons Elizabeth after a short liaison in Netherfield Park. A child is the result of their affair. She marries a tradesman and meets Darcy again after twenty years. Did he abandon her or did something else happen? please read and review. A what if in a AU.

Inspired by that moment in the 2005 movie where they are inches apart during the first proposal. The tension always gets to me. I intended this as a one shot, but decided to continue. I don't own any part referencing something from the movie or book.
