The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (or Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu) is, in all honesty, one of the best anime series out there. There are only fourteen episodes, and they were all aired out of order, which I find very amusing. It's got one of the better English dubs out there, too. The series was based on the light novels, the first of which was 'The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi'. Vol. 10 of the series should be released in Japan sometime soon, and Vol. 1 will be released in English in the Americas sometime in 2009...
