Salutations ;
Funny that you just happened to stroll past my d e a d profile, but here you are. I would welcome you, but unfortunately my profile sucks and I wouldn't want to burden you with such travesty. But if you are suicidal, feel free to read any of my works below.
No but in all honesty, I think I'm a fairly decent writer (don't quote me on that, seeing as any of my works before 2016 are the cringiest things I've ever laid eyes on, and it's only one work). I love writing, but I also hate myself for it. One day I'll be ecstatic to write something; anything, and I'll get ahead of myself and post a chapter before realizing that I don't (and probably will never) have the stable motivation to finish my stories. I'm practically a walking loading circle.
And now it's nearing to 2017 and I only have one story written, and it's a oneshot. And it's cringy, and I hate it. But I'll keep it up ONLY for the sake of my sanity.
If in the near future I post a story and leave an authors note saying I don't have the motivation to complete it (which is highly likely), I give you the free plane ticket to come to my doorstep and slap me across the face and yell, "finish the fucking story, damnit." Because I need a reality check. I need to be able to write and not get bored, for it helps my c r i p p l i n g depression. Seriously, dude.
One day I'll look back at this profile and cringe so hard that you'll be able to feel the vibrations. (Sorry, future me. I truly am.)
Top THREE favorite movies:
- Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (this is an all time favorite, and I don't think anyone will pass this one for a long time. I've watched it at least 10 times, without exaggeration.)
- Corpse Bride (a good friend of mine. a childhood memory I wish not to forget)
- Doctor Strange (I'm a sucker for Benedict Cumberbatch. I recently saw this a few weeks ago when it came out, and I've been mesmerized.)
Top THREE favorite books:
- The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe - C.S. Lewis (First time I read it was in 5th grade for a class reading project. and I hate to be one of those people who coordinate their favorite movie with the book, but I'm not sorry. [C.S. Lewis is a genius, and I love him.])
- Of Mice and Men - John Steinbeck (recently just read this as a class, as well, and I cried. but I loved it all the same.)
- Wonder - R. J. Palacio (My 4th grade teacher forced me to read this, and unashamedly, I loved it, but I never got to tell her that. Mrs. Dorsch, thank you for giving me that book. it meant a lot.)
Top THREE favorite TV shows:
- BBC Sherlock - (Again, a sucker for Benedict. I am absolutely, completely enthralled with this series. SERIES 4 COMES OUT IN A MONTH AND I'M NOT READY.)
- Stranger Things - (I seen it on Netflix and thought "oh ew, another original" and then my curiosity and boredom got the best of me and I watched an episode. and then another, and another. and now I await in temptation and agony as season two is months away.)
- The X-Files (if you don't believe in aliens, I will jump out of this screen and FIGHT you. try me. I love this show.)
Top THREE favorite characters:
- Edmund Pevensie - (From the Chronicles of Narnia. He has so much character development during LWW, and that's what makes him so fun to write and experiment with. I just think he's such an interesting character.)
- Moriarty - (From BBC's Sherlock. i mean despite him being the main antagonist, he's hilarious and one of the most interesting characters i've ever seen. the way he talks and acts and is portrayed has me enthralled.)
- Snape - (From the Harry Potter series. Don't KILL ME for liking him, capiche? when i was little and i first watched hp i loved snape for some weird reason, and even when i grew up and knew he was an asshole that love for him never really went away. oops)
Top THREE favorite musical artists/bands:
- Twenty One Pilots - (Found them out almost two years ago, and i'm in love with them so much i would die for them. does that sound too fangirlish? sorry, but i would. I love them to bits.)
- Hippo Campus - (Introduced to them by a few friends about a year ago, and they arent that famous, but they deserve more recognition. i might be going to one of their concerts. still bawling)
- Guster - (An old band since 1991, and I just recently found out about them a few days ago, but I'm in love.)
My name's Abbigale, and I'm currently an over employed high school student (ha. ha.). My main priorities are pretending that my favorite movies are a reality and ignoring everyone for weeks on end which cause some disruption with my "stable" relationships. I'm a daydreamer, which has it's ups, but mostly, it's downs.
I've had this profile since 2015 and just now decided to start (considering) posting. I hate myself. Let's go.
