A mangled history of miscalculations on his part and distrust on theirs had delayed what he now wondered might have been inevitable since the night in that church so many years ago. When one brother loses sight of his own value, the other is always quick to recover it for him; be it blatantly or subtly, purposefully or unintentionally, indelicately or tactfully, they have always been there to restore each other's self-worth. Two-Shot. Teenchester Flashback.

Unfortunately, in the process of helping the angel, Dean realizes just how not okay he is in the aftereffects of the Mark's removal. Sam just wants to get both of his brothers through this. Tag for 11X11 "Into the Mystic." Sam can't imagine the headache his brother must be dealing with, to cop to "some ringing." He rises from the table and heads toward the hall only to pause on the threshold, heart lighter, but mind not quite put at ease. He turns back, puts a voice to that last thought that has its claws dug in. "Why did it go after you?"

Tag to The Song Remains the Same. Castiel struggles to recover from the effects of time travel, but he's having difficulty waking up, and being trapped in a vessel with one's Grace drained dry isn't all that different from certain aspects of Heaven's Persuasion... Because we needed more angst than that. And more opportunity for the Winchesters to be comforting... Completed oneshot.

Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes had been friends long before they were Captain America and the Winter Soldier, when they were just two kids from Brooklyn. Through all those years, through everything, there were two things Steve could not live without, those were art and Bucky, maybe because for so long the two were intertwined.

2.23. Speedsters don't like cages.

Maybe Captain America should have gone under cryo between missions. That way he wouldn't have had to memorize the ways the world had changed all around him while he stayed painfully still. It's ironic, really, that Castiel is known as "The Rebel", the "disobedient" one. The irony is, quite contrary to this, he's the only one of all the angels who really HAS obeyed.

My first shot at writing, so please bear with me. Set right after 8x03. Basically this is about Dean's reaction to the welcome he receives from Sam when he's back from Purgatory and his acceptance of the new turns in his life. Mind the mild swearing.

"He thinks of Baker Street often." A bit of a character study with a loose plot set just before The Empty Hearse. John on Mary, Sherlock, and moving on...no spoilers! Mary/John, no Johnlock. Just an army doctor who misses his best friend and is trying to move on with his life. A slightly sweet, angsty interlude between Reichenbach and the reunion.

The Ninth Doctor was born a soldier and a statistician. It turns out that retribution demands neither. The universe has plans, and with the TARDIS' help, he will learn what sort of man he is. Series 1.

When accepting the change hurts too much, a message from the past can be a light in the dark and mend what has broken asunder. – A short story about Rose seeking comfort in what little remains of her Doctor's presence, and learning that sometimes what you deem lost can be found again.
