A little something about me... Well I'm seventeen years old, about to be eighteen in September; I live in a teeny, tiny place in Tennessee that most likely wouldn't even make a dot on the map, work a part time job, and will be completing my last year of high school this coming school year.

I've written fanfiction under two genres on this site alone before; I wrote under the Monkees back a few years ago under 21st Century Hippie Chick. I still have a bunch of stories, as well as the concluding chapters to the story no one got to finish because ff.net prohibited writing about real people. Then not too long ago, I was in the middle of writing a Degrassi fic under 21st Century HippieChick_Amy, but life happened and I didn't update online anymore, I just wrote it for a friend of mine and my own entertainment. Here recently I've been writing Beatles fanfiction under the same name as the Degrassi fic, only on different places on the web, including my own site where all my fanfiction that I've uploaded so far dwells. And now I've also taken on writing The Dukes of Hazzard, with a new, and final, penname change. I've been a fan of the show for a long time, and it was a favorite of my mom and aunt's when they were growing up. So far I've only been writing one story, but I've had fun with it and have been inspired to write more, so hopefully it'll be liked. ;)

I finally broke down and decided to use the penname I've reserved for if I ever one day write a great novel or poetry, or the way it's going, even a song, which of course is my real name. I tried for years to come up with a classy, "professional" penname for something asside of fanfiction writing, but I couldn't ever think of anything either untaken or that didn't sound like the latest novelists' name to hit the shelves. So I guess I'll just go with what I was born with and see where it goes.
