![]() Author has written 7 stories for Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Stargate: Atlantis. Updates: 8/15/2018: Still hanging around. Working on LOTR fics in the meantime. Hi there! Thanks for peeking at my profile and stories. I'm an amateur writer/photographer etc. I've been around FFnet for a long time..holy cow. I've continued writing fiction since high school. I am an infrequent poster, but I always return and post new chapters at some point. It's been amazing experiencing this community of writers. I enjoy seeing feedback, favs and follows on my stuff. I'm always open to communicating with people. If you are contemplating writing a story and too scared, please just try it.Whether it applies to your ambitions, day dreams, or writing, the biggest recommendation I can give someone," JUST DO IT!" Follow your heart and try something! I've heard too many people say, "I wish I could do this thing, but it's impossible." Block out any expectations or potential judgment from other people. Otherwise you will singlehandedly destroy your own motivation. FFnet is a great platform, but I started placing all kinds of restrictions and judgments on my writing. Once I set those things aside, my writer's block went away. Writing will become easier with practice and improve in the long run. When I applied this methodology to other things in my life, crazy stuff started happening. I ended up fulfilling my dream of living in Europe and actually becoming an EU citizen. I can bike down the road and write a chapter in front of castle. Us writers can do anything and create anything with our minds :) Bedankt voor u bezoek! (Thanks for your visit!) the author side: The first fandom I dropped into was Harry Potter. I wrote several (bad) stories in that fandom. One day, I found Lord of the Rings, and never looked back. I never found another fandom to seize my lifelong interest in the same manner. My devotion to this new fandom brought multiple efforts at stories, culminating in my first completed LoTR story, "Of Earth and Water." I push myself to write continuously and give myself new experience. It's also fun to integrate my photography on here, as I use my own pictures for the book covers on FF.net. current projects: The Black Crown (LOTR posted on FFnet) Silvertijd (unposted LOTR) | |||||||
