I am SmaryK.

I am almost sixteen, so keep that in mind when you read my writing. I am not that spectacular of a writer, and I probably won't ever write a best-seller, but I write from the heart. I try as hard as I can to get my writing good enough. I am not very sensitive; I am not offended if people give me criticism, as long as they do so with good intentions, and not just to make themselves seem smarter. In fact, I welcome criticism, as long as it's constructive. I also like to give criticism to other writers when I can, because I hope that what I have to say will help them become better writers. It is never my intention to sound rude, but to help out a little.

Oh, and another thing you may want to know about me: my favorite genre is romance, so you'll prolly find alot of that in my writings. My one weakness is chick flicks!

My take on Fanfiction: Well, I know that many authors on here are quite content to write continuations or missing scenes of their favorite stories. That's cool; I am too, sometimes. On the other hand, I believe that fanfiction is really just using the original author's world and characters to create your own story. I may never be as brilliant as John Ronald Ruel Tolkien, and I may never create my own world with alot of minute details, but I sure can mooch off his creativity, and use his world instead of creating my own. Do you get whatI'm getting at? I'm not sure if I even do...
