About Me: I started writing fanfiction over a decade ago, but when I got married, and shortly thereafter was widowed, I lost that part of myself for a long time. Recently, I've rediscovered my love of dabbling in Tolkien's world and have begun rewriting my first story Jewel of Mirkwood. Already, more ideas are forming, including the plans for a sequel to JoM. Updates: Jewel of Mirkwood is now being re-posted with revisions and extended scenes and chapters. I have listed it as a work in progress since the revisions are still in the works and will be posted a chapter at a time.
