I am one of those unfortunate fangirls, who has a very busy life and doesn't really find time (and a way to persuade my parents) to watch movies, catch up on the news, etc. Ugh.

I also strongly disagree with people thinking that just because a certain fangirl was not in the fandom from the very beginning, or has watched the movie before reading the book, blah blah blah, that they are not a true fangirl. So what if they weren't born when it came out, so what if they lived in a different country when they became famous, so what if their friends only knew that there was a movie?
