Surviving, that's all Natalia's been doing ever since she was a little girl. She's been forced to kill, punished, broken, and put back together. All to make her into the perfect assassin, a Black Widow. She wants to survive, but the only way to do that is to become what they want. However, that may be difficult when a blue-eyed soldier comes to train her and compromises everything.

Over missions together, moments of training and moments of intimacy, Bucky and Natasha work to reacquaint themselves all over again, and while it's not all smooth sailing, some moments definitely leave behind a reason for both Bucky and Natasha to hope that the life ahead of them is worth all the loss and pain of their pasts.

This WinterWidow story started as a one-shot but proceeded to eat my soul. Follow Natasha and the Soldier through the day mentioned in TWS when he shot her, through their past together in the Red Room, and beyond. Possible spoilers for the MCU through CA:CW.
