The place was Kansas City, Kansas (in the united states). The year was 1956. Now, to be honest, my memory is not really all that good, so there are actually few chronological details to do to pass on. I'm able to remember things like the house on Haskell that people lived in until We started third grade. I'm able to remember a hallway in the building near my second-grade school room, but not much as well there. I can remember having some fun neighborhood friends to play with, and how the neighbor across the street with the steep front hill mowed his grass which has a rope tied around that lawnmower, and visiting the nice blind man outside who insisted on giving me silver dollars for the pleasure of my corporation.
