Hello all . . . I've been dipping my toes into different genre and fandom pools. Flexing my fiction muscles has provided me with the confidence I need to try writing an original novel, so I've been focusing on that. I'm originally from the Detroit area, but when I lost my teaching position, I moved to Baltimore in March 2005 to continue my career. I started teaching at the secondary level, but now I'm teaching at a local community college in hopes of securing a full-time position. I thoroughly enjoy writing fanfiction, fiction in general, and reading of all kinds. If any of you really, really like my writing, if you'd care to volunteer to read excerpts from the original novel I'm writing, I'd be most grateful (friends and family sometimes don't tell you what you need to hear)! I know I have some series that I've started and need to finish, but I am hoping the muse will help me a little more in the upcoming months to finish those projects.
