 Author has written 3 stories for Phantom of the Opera. I was first introduced to POTO when the 2004 movie came out. I watched it and was intrigued by Christine's decision to go with Raoul even though the phantom lived for her (and gerik was so much hotter than Raoul.) I didn't think much about this, but did enjoy the film and had it it on DVD for every now and then. My phantom obsession came when I lost my DVD and got two for Christmas off family. One of these was the 25th anniversary, starring Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo. I didn't fancy it as I thought it wouldn't seem real, so I left it to collect dust. A few months later I stumbled across it and decided to watch it for a laugh. I fell in love. After that I went to see it on broadway and began to watch all of the phantom films. (My favourite are the Yeston and Kopit version). I read Kay's book and then Leroux, which left me baffled at how in all of these stories (even leroux) how Christine could just disregard Erik and not feel anything towards him whatsoever. Therefore I am here. On this site there are some amazing stories that have reduced me to tears and believe me I wished could be the original story. However...I am just another person who want Christine and Erik to be together. Read and review x |
