Station 51 is having a really really crappy day. A challenge from another fandom, but that I have decided to use her as it fits so well. The challenge is to take out all team members plus at least one team vehicle with one incident in circumstances that are out of their control.

What is the value of a human life? Is one life ever worth more than another?

This story designed to examine life outside of the station and will also have some canon materials. Characterization in this story is built on the last. In the end, it was always the unknown variables at a fire that were the most dangerous. They trained hard and did their best to minimize the risks, but ultimately, they couldn't prepare for something they had no way to predict. When a routine call goes horribly wrong, the crew of Station 51 is reminded of that in the most difficult way. A story in three parts. Complete.

This story begins right before the promotions to captain and continues to when Roy and Johnny are captains. It contains OC characters and has one part that puts it in the mature rating.
