My name is Michaela (Mikayla) though I'll answer to Mik, Miks or Mikki. Actually I answer to most things. ;) I'm in my third year of university. I study English and Creative Writing and I am doing my dissertation. I'm doing mine on the Arthurian Legends, which means I get to watch Merlin and Camelot and pretend I'm doing research. ;) I'm currently reading the Mists of Avalon for this purpose and it's amazing. I loved Uther. :P I recommend it to everyone actually. Fantastic read.

As you can tell from my choice of essays to write on, I love the Arthurian Legends and many of my poems and stories for Uni feature the characters from the legends. The Lady of the Lake is my favourite character but I've written stories based on Lancelot and Guinevere as well.

A lot of my fanfics these days are about Merlin, though I fully intend on returning to HP writing soon.

I really like to read Merlin, Sherlock and Harry Potter fanfiction. I do venture out sometimes in other things.

I do seem to be writing a lot of slash, not sure how I got into that, I don't just write Slash. It's odd, I dislike romance, but what I write isn't always romance so... :/ I am sorry though. I need to write more Het.

RECENTLY DELETED A FEW OF MY OLD STORIES. Didn't realise how old this account was until I read one of my first ever fanfics. LOL. Anyway, got rid of quite a few old ones and a few I didn't like and then the Hollyoaks ones because I don't actually remember the last time I watched Hollyoaks...

Then, finally. I'm on my own site. It has been up nearly a whole year and is based on the BBC's Merlin. I play Merlin and Uther along with a few originals. It's pretty damn cool. Even if I do say so myself. Great members and interesting enough plotting amongst everyone. Yes. I am bigging it up. I love it. -Cuddles- I even learned how to skin CSS for it.

So. That's a long winded, wonderfully dull story about me. xD
