I'm a student at university, and have been writing ever since I could hold a pencil, and reading way before then. My favourite authors include Tolkien, Anne McCaffrey, Eva Ibbotson, Alison Croggon, C.S. Lewis, Austen, the Brontes... the list is endless!! Fantasy and romance are my genres and particularly fairytales. I also have a passion for creating two characters that are perfect for each other and throwing them into situations to see how they react... and writing fluffy scenes between them.
I'm really horribly picky about my fanfics. I'll start reading one and if the grammar or spelling isn't up to standard, I won't be able to continue. In the end it got to the point where I decided to write my own, in self-defence.
Please do review (and point out MY mistakes!), and tell me if you like my characters please because I usually have a great deal of affection for them!

Right, now to make my profile a little more interesting.

I like: writing (obviously), reading (ditto), walking barefoot through grass (or anywhere really...), when the sky is cloudy but it's warm enough to be without a cardigan, sunbathing, swimming in the sea, eating chocolate, smelling fresh bread, seeing beautiful landscapes, spending time with children. All very cliche', really.

I dislike: extremes of anything (heat, cold, noise). When you innocently eat a chocolate and it tastes of nuts. Being woken up, no matter what time it is. Rude people. People who make snap judgments.

I'm short, green-eyed, curly-haired, half Italian, Catholic, the oldest of five, and slightly prone to sit in the corner with a book when I should be socialising.

Stories:

The Glass Shoe is a typical fanfic of its kind; it's got all the ingredients - wronged princess, handsome prince, a ball and some rather lovely shoes. On top of that there is mainly fluff. I wrote it entirely for my own enjoyment and am fully prepared for criticism - no it is not really original - but yes it is written rather better than some of its kind!

Changeling is a work in progress that I would love to assure you will get finished, but unfortunately can make no such claims. Who knows? But I'd greatly appreciate some feedback; it would probably spur me on to continue writing.
