Update- I finally got around to updating.

“things not to do in the stone of tear” is under construction. No idea when it'll be finished, though.

Robert Jordan seems to fall into the “I’m writing serous characters, so I can't write jokes with them” trap. Maybe that's why everyone likes Mat so much – he does get some jokes.

Thank you for your kind review, Gleeman Bob. I tried a notebook like that once, and now I’m still looking for it three years later. bloody notebook! It has the only remaining outline for my star wars fan film!

Zebras are the best inkpens, I agree. But I prefer a mechanical pencil-so I can erase my many mistakes! And a three-ring binder is more resistant to being sat-upon by a forgetful storyteller.

A things not to do list is an interesting form of story, which makes little use of plot, but lots of use of character. My favorites are ...
