Shepard is dead, everyone went their own way and it's Thursday again. Now I have two full years to get myself ready for her return. Get myself back into better shape, stockpile some weapons... simple enough, right? With the way things were going so far, I think I should have expected that nothing will ever be so simple.

The Collectors have been dealt with, Shepard's run back to her precious Alliance, and I finally managed to foist off the Director's position onto someone else. After far too many years at war, it's finally time to relax a little before the Reapers show up... or it would be if Miranda Lawson hadn't tracked us down to help her in dealing with yet another crisis. The beginning of the end is finally here. Lawson is making her move inside of Cerberus, Shepard is due to wake up at any moment, and the offensive to finish the Geth off will begin soon. Now if the Collectors would stick to a schedule, if the Asari could not cavort with Leviathans, and if Vakarian would stop bloody glaring at me, this would be easy. Dammit... this won't be fun.

One war has ended, another has begun, and the complications seem to never bloody end. If I'm not dealing with relationship problems, I'm dealing with leadership problems... and just when both of those look like they're settled, I get to be thrown head-first into the bloody waters of Terminus politics. Dammit, but some days I really just want to leave all of this to someone else.

The assassin escaped us on Redcliffe, but the war goes on. Armed with new strategies, new allies, and new plans, the hunt will continue. But before it can truly resume, there are a few loose ends to tie up. In particular, my own past has been a mystery for far too long, and what few clues I have point to the throne-world of Lady Warlord Yan T'Ravt...

The events surrounding my exile have left me with a new goal in life: Find out who was behind the massacre at the hotel, and deal with them appropriately. In order to do so, I'm now on Omega to back up Aethyta's spy slash mercenaries. But Omega isn't Illium, and it's going to be rough few months. Hell, between the mercs, the gangs, and Aria herself.. we'll be lucky just to survive.

It's been six months since our part in the war against the Blue Suns ended on Illium, but just because we think we're out doesn't mean that our enemies feel the same. Between Batarian politics, strange assassins, and reluctant rescue missions.. it would seem that my life is going to become extremely complicated yet again. Which figures, I was just starting to get comfortable.

Charlotte Elizabeth Nacht was a loud and obnoxious woman. She was also a student, a friend, and a cripple. She loved her life though; spend all night playing video games, go to school, go to work, then get home and start the cycle all over again. Charlie's life was about to get a little more complicated and weird, and not even give her the common courtesy of asking first.

Mass Effect is a great game. A fun game. But the fun and games stop when it all becomes real...when I find myself on the Citadel, with the terrible knowledge of what's coming. Can one person really make a difference? I'm sure as hell going to try, because the Reapers aren't taking over this galaxy on my watch.
