Though reluctant to participate, she is intrigued by the defendant; a badly deformed man accused of blackmail and murder. Though the world seems to begrudge him his very existence, she begins to feel pity for the accused who is only a man, after all. A man named Erik.

Erik did not believe in nymphs. But an arrow gone awry and a simple healing touch binds him to a beautiful creature in a way he never thought possible. Christine was happy living amongst the trees with her father and sisterlings, until the actions of a Knight separate her from her kin and leaves her struggling to understand a man so different from any she has ever known.

"Remember, when the time comes, shoot. Only if you have to - but shoot to kill." This was the plan Christine knew about, but what she didn't know was that Raoul had another. Will she stay faithful? E/C as always. Will eventually be an alternate LND story.

Their lips met, and Christine's fate was sealed. She knew the Phantom wasn't ever going to let her go. What she didn't know was how their story would end: happily ever after or not. This story is an Alternative Ending where the Phantom doesn't recant on his word.

Christine goes to her father's grave to find resolution, and finds instead a Ghost. Without Raoul to protect her, she cannot escape him, and the course of their lives is irrevocably altered.

Erik's time in Persia takes an unexpected turn when the woman he is destined to love enters at the darkest period of his life.

How much can one tempt the darkness before it burns in return?

When Christine's world crumbles, she returns to the man who had once loved her beyond all reason. But even if they can slay their own demons, will they be able to escape the wrath of those left in their destructive wake? COMPLETE.
