Information about my writing: I LOVE writing with a sincere passion. I want me to write and you to write and your grandma to write. For me, I write with the values I believe in. I will not swear in my stories, as I don't swear in real life either (yes, I am a live teenage specimen who does not cuss). This doesn't mean that I don't read stories that swear (although when it gets really excessive, I usually stop reading because it gets boring and loses the effect), I just like seeing how else we can express the emotions of characters. Not to mention making up expletives that fit in with the universe is pretty entertaining and adds to the world building. I will also not write anything above T as I don't want to write about horribly bloody scenes (or as more common) intercourse scenes. I will write some pretty serious stuff, though, so just make your own decision what you want to read. Awesome. Random Stuff: I want to be a massage therapist and an author, I really love cliff builder protein bars, I got perfect attendance throughout Elementary and Middle School (working on high school), I have two crazy, but very funny sisters, (no brothers!) I'm currently writing too many books, I love cake, but it's not my favorite food, pizza is. I'm also miss barefoot extraordinaire. People literally call me crazy on a daily basis because of how hard I work out. Weird Facts About Me: 1) On almost all of the computer profiles I've had I always have a "Steuff" file for random things. 2) I get really obsessed about certain games, toys, or any other thing for about a month, then one day I wake up to do that thing and I'm just like. "Ehhh." 3) However, if said obsession is a book or a cartoon MY OBSESSION NEVER DIES. It will only lay dormant at times. 4) I love love love certain sounds: the sound of keyboards (maybe this is why I write so much), hard shoes on cobble, the whole soundtrack to Breath of the Wild... 5) I either just unceremoniously throw something away or think extensively on why or why not I should keep it. 6) People ask why I'm good at writing, and I'm just like, "I've been writing specific books since 4th grade, I've read more books then the prescribed amount, and I've written hundreds upon hundreds of pages. I sure hope I'm decent at writing by now." 21) I'm actually a pretty good liar. 19) I really want to fly. Or to have a pet dragon-even if it was tiny. 54) Camping and backpacking is my JAM. 10) Most adults love me or absolutely hate me for no apparent reason. 17) Resident lefty here. 49) I play the piano, clarinet, tenor saxophone (ah my love), and ocarina. 13) EAR MASSAGE IS A THING. 14) My favorite font is Courier New and I type everything in it or suffer insanity. Story Time: At a camp I went to we did about me papers and you had to guess who the paper was from the answers they gave to the questions, so as a joke I wrote one for Percy Jackson and showed it to my friend. I then completely forgot about it. Turns out, when we were reading those papers-that one had weaseled in, but I didn't remember it. So when they were reading we were all very confused, and when the Crush question came up with Annabeth Chase, I said, "What the heck? Which one of you likes Annabeth that much?" About two questions later my friend got it and started laughing, and then it dawned on me, and I explained it. I can't even joke my own joke. More Story Time: So there's this tumblr post that has a really cool and pretty Native American fire opal knife displayed, and as tumblr does, people added their own comments: 'Kill me with this knife', 'As the light fades, I whisper aesthetic'. I told my good friend about this and we laughed about it and started pointing out pictures and saying 'aesthetic, it's for the aesthetic.'. Fast forward to later that day when I went hiking (I hike barefoot by the way) and every time I stepped on a sharp rock, instead of saying 'ow' or 'geez rock' I muttered, 'aesthetic.' I think I've finally lost my mind. Things that Rick Riordan did in HoO that made me mad: Percy Jackson isn't in The Lost Hero Blood of Olympus Percy loses the curse of Achilles The fact that he makes the Romans seem so superior over the Greeks Piper becomes super OP I pre-ordered Blood of Olympus for like 30 bucks We never really see how Percy and Annabeth felt post-Tartarus The third person made the books seem less personal BLOOD OF OLYMPUS Being Barefoot Notes-My Experience: As I've put on this profile already, I am a barefoot person. Rain, sun, snow-grass, concrete, asphalt, gravel, dirt-I walk in it and love it. It feels great and it just makes you look awesome and hardcore. I'm here today to clarify some stuff with you in case you plan on meeting and talking with, or writing someone who is barefoot for most (if not all) of their lives. The most common comment/misconception I get is: "Oh, wow, you must have like a ton a callouses." Walking, running, and hiking barefoot will not give you callouses. The opposite, in fact, happens. Your feet get smooth-like a river stone that's been weathered. This is because your body likes to think long term and builds up thicker layers of skin. To really get the full sensational benefits, it must be skin so that it can feel. Next: "Barefoot people have really flat feet." Always having arch support is like only ever doing modified push ups and never moving to your toes. Pretty soon you get used to it and won't be able to support the harder regular push ups without a lot of work.I started being barefoot is because the doctors said that I was getting flat feet. Being barefoot reversed this. If you ever plan on writing a barefoot character, remember these things: Barefoot people are not all crazy gurus (although most love nature), they have pretty impressive balance because the feet can form around the terrain, wearing shoes does indeed make them fundamentally mad because they can't feel what they're used to, toes hit crap all the time, feet widen, you do get many comments from people who notice. So, what's it like to be barefoot? In a word: awesome. You'd be surprised by how people react to barefoot-ness. Real comments I've received: "That's incredible." "You're hardcore!" "Nice shoes." "What a mountain goat." "You're a beast!" Favorite Quotes: Sweat dries, blood clots, bones heal. SUCK IT UP PRINCESS. The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war. Fight because you do not know how to die quietly. The beast is sleeping, not dead. Reading is breathing in, writing is breathing out. I could keep you safe, they're all afraid of me. What doesn't kill me better run. Favorite Poetry: Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. -Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night by Dylan Thomas Do I dare disturb the universe? -The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock by T. S. Eliot Fanfiction is cruel because it gets you emotionally involved with fake situations that only could happen to already fictional characters. | |||||||
