My name is Emily and I hail from the incredibly fucked up country of the United States of America. I am fe-male and identify as such (interpret that however you wish, I honestly don't care). I am currently working toward my degree in Religions and have hopes to pursue a Master of Divinity. I enjoy many things in the realm of fandoms, but my main obsession in terms of fanfiction is Hetalia-especially if they happen to involve any form of crime syndicates and/or mafias. Don't ask why; I just love it. As anyone who is following my story, Banished, know, I am absolutely awful with updating. I do apologize for this, but it's a matter of finding time and inspiration. I am hoping that with this creative writing class I'm taking, I'll be able to find some form of inspiration to either continue Banished or write one of the other fics I've been contemplating for quite some time now. We'll see how it works out. To be honest, I read more than I write. I tend to submit a lot of poetry, so be warned of that as well as poetry isn't what I'd consider to be my strong suit.

If you read any of my works and happen to leave a review, please do me a favor and give me constructive criticism. I can't improve if no one tells me I suck. But I would also appreciate it if your comments, in addition to being truthful and straightforward, were pleasant to read. Don't simply cuss me out for being a pathetic twat and say that I should never write again, tell me specifically what you don't like and how it could be better. Or if the whole piece just doesn't work, tell me where I went wrong so that I can start over (unless, of course, I decide that I like how I approached it and feel that such changes are bullshit; but I like to think of myself as a fairly open-minded individual, so I doubt that I would ignore any advice in its entirety).

I have a couple of concepts that I would love to read (but have no aspirations to write), so if anyone knows of any fic along these lines, do please PM me and let me know.
