If you want to know me better though, don't be afraid to PM me. The quirkiest, original, unique thoughts are what interest me the most. :D I'm quirky myself. Well, sort of. My serious, no-nonsense, perfectionist attitude overtakes me most of the time but hey! that doesn't mean I don't like having fun. XD Spontaneity can be the best medicine for stress after all. :) Here it is! My short profile, some tidbits on my writing style and the project I'm working on! :D Name: Kapitan Panda Country: Philippines (It's fun here! :D) Age: 18 Hobbies/Interests: watching History and Discovery Channel and some good anime, Taekwondo, self-taught Karate (thanks to the 1984 Karate Kid! XD), Volleyball, Swimming, surfing the internet, listening to music, playing video games and hanging out with friends and family Other info: I have a boyfriend and I love him to bits and pieces!! :D I also have a sister writing fan fictions here! Her account name is Popolopy. Feel free to review them. It'll make her (and me) happy! :D My Writing Style: "My tale is one of personal growth. I am a growing writer; rigid yet flexible, a pacifist yet a warrior, a seed yet to be a flower. Your true potential will soon be unlocked by the winds of change, signaling your freedom." I write in order to explore human thoughts, emotions and actions. When it comes to shaping the characters in my stories, I put a lot of thought in the way they feel about things, the way they think and the way they do things. I also make sure that their experiences lead to their own personal growth and that you can relate with them. It's my duty as a writer to do so. :D Fan fictions are, in my opinion, very challenging to write especially if the main characters in your story are already actual characters in video games and books. The creators already mapped out their traits and futures after all; therefore, creating a new world or starting from a new setting while living up to the fans' expectations can put a lot of pressure on you. BUT... if you have faith in yourself, you CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING. :D In my current story, Spies! Seriously? I'm basically putting myself in the shoes of Kasumi, who is a college student trying to balance schoolwork and her own life with spy work. Kasumi in my story is portrayed as a strong-willed, dutiful and independent girl who acts as the mediator between Tina's opportunistic and bubbly personality and Lei-Fang's calm attitude and cheerfulness. Sometimes it's hard for me to write from Kasumi's perspective but she is my favorite character in Dead or Alive ever since I was little, so I'll do my best to make sure her and the other characters are faithful to their source material. :) Being a great writer is a process of growth; you don't just improve overnight. You have to keep training yourself to write; experiment, edit, appreciate, then publish. You CAN'T COPY great writers because you have your own personal writing style. Don't be a robot; think, feel and write with the best of your own ability. :) OH! I love writing while listening to instrumental music! It helps me create the mood in a scene. :D Here are two instrumental music that I am currently using for my Dead or Alive fan fic: For the spying scenes: "Ginza" from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (I love Shoji Meguro! XD) For the normal, everyday life scenes: "3/31" from Persona 3 (once again, say it with me: SHOJI MEGURO FTW! XD) Here are the theme songs for the current/recurring characters of my fan fic. Ludacris Spy Mode: "Who Do You Think You Are" by the Spice Girls Well, that's about it for this section. Moving on to the next one! :D STORIES: Spies! Seriously? Three college students, Kasumi, Lei-Fang and Tina, are working for an organization maintaining peace in the world as spies. Follow their journey as they try to get good grades, deal with love and pursue new hobbies and interests while kicking butt. I thought about writing this after witnessing the Dead or Alive 5 story, remembering some stuff from Charlie's Angels and re-watching some episodes of Totally Spies!. At first, I thought of putting Kasumi as the only main character, but it would be kind of boring to put all the focus (and burden) on her, so I had to come up with two other characters. Then I suddenly remembered that Lei-Fang and Tina were the other two main in the first Dead or Alive, so I placed them in there and VOILA! XD The missions and the gadgets can be hard to create, so I'll do my best in formulating them. Other than that, if you're having fun reading the story, I am happy and just follow me if you want chapter updates! :D Guardians Unite! Video Games and Childhood Memories (coming soon) This is a Wreck-It-Ralph and Rise of the Guardians movie Crossover. More details will be coming up, so stay tuned! ;) Alright!
