![]() Author has written 5 stories for Tangled, How to Train Your Dragon, Brave, 2012, and Rise of the Guardians. Would you like to study the Bible with me? Send me a PM! :) Simply put, I love God, I love His word, I love being a Christian, and I would love to tell you all about it! Also, if there's anything you'd like me to pray for you about, please let me know. I may not know you, but our Lord in heaven does! "And the time has come to realize; to see the plan you've been designed for. So face the fear of all unknown, and see the heart inside. So open up your eyes." -Jeremy Camp All you need to know about me: I'm a story teller :) Everything about story, literary analysis, and the like are subjects that I find absolutely fascinating! As a kid with big dreams of becoming a film director/screen writer/story board artist for animated films, reading and occasionally writing fanfiction is sort of one of my ways of studying. I enjoy seeing other peoples interpretations of my favorite movies, finding out what really get's them riled up, what makes fans happy and what just plain gets on their nerves. And like everybody else, sometimes I just like to be a geek :D Hey, life itself is one big story. We might as well all strive to experts in storyology! Favorites in the wonderful world of animation: How To Train Your Dragon, Toy Story, Tangled, Cars, Corpse Bride, Ratatouille, Coraline, WALLE, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Finding Nemo, Gnomeo and Juliet, Beauty and the Beast, Princess and the Frog, Up, Wreck-it-Ralph, Hotel Transylvania. And in the world of live action: Nicholas Nickleby, It's a wonderful life, Little Women, Star Wars Episodes IV-VI, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl-At World's End, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, The Hunger Games/Catching Fire (sort of) and various Marvel super hero films. As for books (I try to be a good reader): Norton Juster's The Phantom Tollbooth, C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia, Charles' Dickens Great Expectations, Ray Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes, and Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, Cressida Cowell's How To Train Your Dragon, Lois Lowery's The Giver, Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. A Few More Fun Facts :) I am the servent of the Most High God. If any of my actions ever suggest otherwise, I want you to tell me flat out. Unfortunately I'm not perfect, but I wish to correct any mistakes I make. I'm 100% Bible obsessed. Seriously, best stories ever told are in that book. And what's even better? They're all real! :D I love movies. Animated movies especially. I connect with them so deeply, and throughout the last few years, I really feel that they have had a hand in making me into the person that I am becoming. But because I love movies so much, they can easily become an object of idolatry for me. That is why, to remember who I am and what is most important in my life, I go on entertainment fasts. Once in a while, I may disappear from this sight for months at a time, and I may not finish my stories when I come back because they are too big of a distraction for me. This is just something I do to keep myself in check. :) You shall have no other Gods before me, declares the Lord, and in Him I will put my trust! No matter what, He will always come first in my life. I'm currently studying New Media in college, with the possibility of going for Communications as a minor. I was homeschooled all throughout highschool, and am living proof that the Theory of Unsocialization is false. I'm short (which means I will one day rule the world!) Many people know me as "The Walking Dictionary". That means I use really big words in normal conversations. So if I say, "I will have to converse with parental authorities", it means "I'll have to talk to my parents". If I say "Give my regards to the non-present members of your family", it means "tell your family I said Hi." If I say, "Not an excessive amount, please", if means "Just a little bit". That's what being homeschooled does to ya. I am classically educated in argumentation in debate :) sorry if I ever seem to argumentitive; It's what I've been trained to do. I'm extremely bad at typos, because I tend to get very excited when I write. So take it as a complement if I review your story and you can barely understand it. It means I loved your story so much that I was in a daze :) My dreams include: publishing a few written works, becoming an animator/story board artist/concept artist/screen writer/editor for Pixar/Dreamworks, and maybe even starting my own animation studio. With your prayers, I just might get there someday. But for now, I'm loving the spot God has put me in, making the most of my college days, and doing EVERYTHING I possibly can to serve God where I am. :) His plan for me, and for all of us, is so much greater than we could ever imagine; I dare not get in my Writer's way! The Status Quo of my Mind Really excited about all the feedback I'm getting on "Notes from a Brave Tangled Dragon"! Thanks for the comments guys. I'll be updating this status quo thing again very shortly. It's about time for the Storyologist to make her comeback!:) |
