Konnichi wa, minna! Boku wa Doraeku Kanto, yoroshiku onegai shimasu! *Ahem* Introductions aside, my name is Drake Kanto. Some of you may have heard of me from my work on FictionPress, but for those who haven't, that's fine too. I'm a long-time reader and resident on this site, but one day I decided 'ah, screw it' and decided to try to start writing some stories here just like I do on FictionPress. As a writer, I like to stick to the canon but I won't hesitate to put my own twist on things. Wait, that last sentence is the whole purpose of writing fanfic...please ignore that. Anyways, as you may have figured out, I'm generally casual with everything I do and that includes fanfics. Don't expect an overly formal and polite author when messaging me, but I am entirely capable of that as well. I have a diverse taste in series, most of the ones I like include Mortal Kombat, Mass Effect, Legend of Zelda, League of Legends, Toradora!, Beelzebub, Daily Life with Monster Girl, and many others I can't be bothered to remember. Moving on, I'm open to any and all messages people want to send to me; as long as it doesn't in any way resemble the kind of stuff on Twitch.tv chat.

Update (7/4/16): *Sigh* It's good to be back. It's funny how I always prefer fading into the background, but it still hurts quite a bit. Anyways, sorry for the long, unannounced hiatus. Work is truly an unpredictable demon and it's especially true for soldiers. Granted, it wasn't just because of my job, it was also due to my lack of motivation as of recent times. For what it's worth, I'm sorry everyone. On the brighter side of things, I'm starting to get back into my rhythm these days thanks to several rising writers that have inspired me to take back my role! Did you really think I was doing nothing the whole time? Even if I wasn't writing, I was still posting reviews on stories and even started mentoring (sort of) a few new writers here and there. So, for bringing the life back into my writing, I'd like to honor just a few individuals (links to their profiles included!):

Oh, by the way, the finale for the 'Monster Girls One-Shot Collection S2!' is set to get posted quite soon. Fair warning, it is absolutely the longest chapter I've written in my career, so make sure you all have plenty of time to spare when you start it.

Update (7/14/16): Just a small little thing this time around, nothing major. Recently, I've begun to branch out and start advertising my work. I know, I know, you're all probably all saying, "WTF Drake!? That never occurred to you 'till now!?", and you're probably right. Thing is, I'm not the sort of guy who indulges in social media; shocker, right? So, the main point is that I just set-up my page on Google Plus for everyone to access. It will be filled with updates about my daily life, progress on upcoming chapters, and even secret information that isn't available anywhere else! Update (7/30/16): Guess what everyone!? I just got into one of the most awesome things about being a writer: collabs! Now you're all probably thinking that I'm some sort of loser (and you'd be 60% correct), but this is the first time any of you has actively offered to lend a hand in helping me make new one-shots! I'm really not all that distant once you try talking to me, y'know? So, I'd like to recognize Sheepy36 and PoptartJumpscare for their coming assistance in this new series of one-shots. Anyone else who'd like to help me out is more than welcome to, and I'd be willing to give advice on anything you'd need.
