![]() Author has written 5 stories for RWBY, Fallout, and Naruto. I think it'd feel a bit too awkward if I tried to turn this into a diary-style piece where I talk about myself, so I'll just make it a quick little bio thing. Anything relevant that I make (or start doing) I'll add in a bit at the bottom. The Snow Mage Pseudonym: Alex Frost Gender: Male Age: Twenties (not gonna be more specific than that) 3 Likes: Cold Weather and Rain; Strategy RPGs; and, well, learning about systems of Magic (yes, I'm a huge nerd, get used to it) 2 Dislikes: Spiders (arachnophobia includes scorpions and the like, but I can stand those in fiction; spiders always freak me out); and My Own Work Ethic (I really suck sometimes) 1 Goal: I've written a novel... and most of a second one. I'm going to work towards getting it/them published in the near future, as well as the other assorted things I'm working on. I need to stop planning and get back into actually writing, though. I have a Twitter account! I made the account back in 2010, but never used it once, so this'll be interesting. Follow @TheSnowMage if you want, but don't expect anything from it unless/until I get published. Completed Works: The Bleeding Forest: A story about a team from Beacon on the verge of flunking out; an Angel, a Bard, a Cyborg, and a Druid. They get sent to the Bleeding Forest, a place with ash-white trees covered in black leaves, full to burst with Grimm. If they can successfully find and collect three artifacts, their grades will be boosted to the point that passing is possible; if they can't, then they might as well drop out. While there, they encounter a villain tied to each of them who is seeking the same artifacts as they are. Whatever will Team PLKA do? In-Progress Works: Fallout: Remnant. This story is probably just what you'd expect it to be: two hundred years after a war, the descendants of the cast of RWBY explore their desiccated world and try to find a way to fix it. Well, not so much the last bit, what with the horrors of the Wasteland. Seriously, you think the Grimm are messed up? Wait until you see an Irradiated Goliath. OCs are the main focus (of course), but more than a few canonical characters are going to wind up showing up in the future. Blood and Roses. This is a (in my opinion) somewhat bizarre mix of RWBY, a High School AU, inborn specific magical abilities (think ESPers more than Harry Potter), a Crime Drama, and the backstory of Bloodborne... I shouldn't have written that all out like that, it seems very silly to me. Oh, and many of the characters are suffering from a variety of debilitating and/or terminal illnesses and conditions. OCs are present but aren't the main focus. Tempered Steel. A very common style of Naruto fanfic, starting at the Academy graduation and moving forward from there. The age of graduation was moved from 12/13 to 16, and therapy is mandatory, so you'll see an array of psychological problems being confronted over the course of the series. Of course, I'll also be using it to vent some of my blood lust, so... Fun times! OCs are present but aren't the main focus. |
