Do to ever increasing changes in policy being made without regard to common sense, A Matter of Circumstances and Diametric Alley Opposed have been removed from this website. I quote the following from a good friend and fellow fanfiction author, Jeconais, who summed it up much better than I could:

“If you haven’t seen the front page, the admin’s of this website have said,

'In addition, would like to address a growing problem. For whatever reason, some writers feel it's okay to copy-n-paste musical lyrics they have not written into their fiction. If you did not write it, do not post it. This has always been our policy. Please remove these entries immediately to avoid account closure.'

The very thought that a website based on fanfiction, would be worried about copyright issue with songs is completely ludicrous, especially when most of the time the usage of the songs themselves is covered under the fair use doctrine (and yes, I did have an informal chat with a lawyer).”

Though my stories do not contain any song lyrics, I cannot be bothered to worry that in the future, the dictate of “if you did not write it, do not post it” might broaden in scope to include brief quotes or passages from J.K. Rowling’s books.

Rest assured that A Matter of Circumstance has not been abandoned and will be available to read on other, more reasonable,

To let you know, the companion story, A Matter of Perspective is currently at chapter eight with chapter nine nearly complete. Once caught up with A Matter of Circumstance, both stories will continue with simultaneous updates.
