Author has written 1 story for Fruits Basket.

Hey,

I'm not sure what you are supposed to put in a profile thingymabob so I shall write some random things.

Hi. Um, as far as anime goes, my top three are; Fruits basket, Ouran Highschool Host Club and Free! LOL. Um, I like Sherlock (BBC) as well as Doctor Who; David Tennant is my fav doctor; and Harry Potter (go Hufflepuff!). I like reading and music as well as science. Err, yeah, just thought that that information would interest you greatly. I don't really want to put information that is too personal in case some lunatic discovers where I live. As I say 'I live in Australia'. I mean, how specific can you get?

Anyways, moving on; I am currently working on my first ever fanfic (Sugar plum) which happens to be a Fruits Basket fic. Fruits Basket was the first anime I ever watched (along with wolf children, Deltora quest and Yu-Gi-Oh) and I just fell in love with it. My friends and I used to sit and watch it on the huge flat screen TV in the Japanese classroom during lunch. It was ausome! (we spell awesome differently in Aus...damn American spell check!) Soon after that my life went crazy and so consequently, I only watched up to like episode six.

After like, over a year the subject of Fruits Basket came up among my friends (I had been thinking about it a lot but couldn't remember the name so I asked about it) and so I decided to check it out. I watched the series and read the manga (which was double ausome!).

After watching some more anime I thought that I should write a fanfic on Fruits Basket. I decided that I would write it for my friend as a kind of surprise. Yeah. Seeing as they go to Australia. (Which, if that actually happened, they would probs die from some sort of snake or spider or shark or crocodile and be super scared of the Drop Bears.) It just seemed the natural thing to do. The characters all have such special places in my heart; the whole story does.

That brings me to the naming of my story - 'Sugar Plum'. Well pretty much, I was up to about chapter four and decided that I should probably think of a name for it as I was about to send the draft to my friend. So I was like, "well, I should probs do something with the fruit theme." I pondered on this for a while but everything I came up with was way too cheesy. So then I was like, "hmm, what about the rice ball thing." So I was thinking of the names of the episodes. like 'A Rice Ball in a Fruits Basket' and stuff. and as I went through them, one name came to mind - 'A Plum on the Back' - or whatever it was called.

I looked at the ground, very pensive like, and saw one of my dance books open on the floor of my room. What page was it open to? You may ask. None other than the Nutcracker! (for those of you who don't know that the Sugar Plum Fairy is in the Nutcracker; the Sugar Plum is in the Nutcracker.) How disgusting would it be to have a cristalised candy in a rice ball! It fitted the story perfectly; something a bit out of place, not right. Yeah.

I know, I know, that was an epic story but I told you; I don't know what goes in a profile thingamabob.

Please read and review. When I got one favourite I was just so stoked. Thankyou whoever that was...it was AUSOME!!! I am still pumped.

Well, c u round ;)
