The Life And Times is an odd story, but a fun one. The summary doesn't do it justice. Basically, I'm going to college for a Music Education degree and I got to thinking - what do witches and wizards do to become teachers?

Think about it! Want to be an Auror? Go to Auror Academy! Healer, same thing. All of the wizarding jobs tend to involve a very hands-on learning experience. However, with education, there would obviously be classes involved, because the student would need to become an expert in that subject. But what is the hands-on part? Are we actually going to let 21 year olds be in charge of our children's future? They don't have experience with anyone under the age of 11 because they are at a boarding school for seven years! So Hank Marchley comes up with The Teaching Project - pair off all the students training to be a teacher, give them a 4 year old child magically created from the DNA of the paired students, stick them in a house in a Muggle community, and give them two years of real-life Parenting classes - as hands-on as you can get! But did Hank do his research well enough? Will these couples make it through two years - Venus and Nigel can't be in the same room, and Lucas hardly speaks English! Anastasia has never cared for anything in her entire life, including herself, and Fiona and JD are mysteries to each other. Rose and Scorpius have a shot, as do Claire and James - that is, if Claire and James will stop being so awkward! Good luck - they'll need it!
