Ayohhh everyone

My name is Mel, otherwise known as InSanityStorm. (obviously, as it's sitting right smack dab on the top of the page)

I've returned to this domain with the intention of actually writing some fanfiction, (This didn't happen at my old account, Sonic Echo... WABAM) I'm hoping to warm up to the prospect of sharing my glorious writing with you awesome readers (hinthint) out there, and all that jazz.

With the whole new account/returning/intro out of the way, let's move on, shall we?

Alright. This is gonna be my update/blog thinger, that I'll try to update at least once every two days with stuff that's going on with me that has anything to do with fanfiction/writing. Hope it's helpful at all xD.

Oh my goodness. Today is indeed the third of October, and that means that it's FMA day today, and not only that; but it's the 100 year anniversary! It's not every day that the date on your laptop reads the same as the one inside Ed's beloved pocket watch. Wow. It's just so mystical for me, and I'm so glad that I'm here at this fandom at the right time to celebrate this day. And I just want to put it out there, that in honor of it being the holiday, I have to thank Hiromu Arakawa for creating Fullmetal Alchemist, and brightening my life. You are truly an inpiration for us all. :)

On another note, I published my first fanfic today, as I had to do one because of the date, and I would love it if you guys snuck a peek at it!

Oh joy, I suppose I should get my genres/fandoms out of the way underneath this beautiful linebreak... (LINEBREAKS FTW)

Aaaanywho, my fandoms have changed dramatically since my last residence at ff.net, so if any of you actually read my old stories (UNLIKELY), no longer am I residing over a certain Maximum Ride book series, so, tough luck if you liked that (of course, if I got a drabble request or whatever, I'd be happy to do one for that... INDECISION WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME)

Ah, Hetalia. It's strange how quickly I fell in love with it. I just find the whole concept of people representing the relationships and stereotypes between countries around the world amazing, and it totally redefines the term 'canon' (haha). I read and review a lot of it on the site, but will probably never post a fic centered on it. My guilty pleasure would have to be stuff revolving around international sports, such as FIFA or the Olympics. Maybe I'll conjure something up during London 2012, but probably not.

-Fullmetal Alchemist-

Hmm... this'll probably be my most dwelled upon fanfic subject, as I'm finding all sorts of candy for my writing muse when I draft out ideas. By FMA, I do mean all versions, although the 2003 anime isn't really on the top of my favorites, so most of my stories will be Brotherhood/Manga based. I'll readily take prompts for this fandom, as I often run into small plot blockages with my own ideas. My genres for this fandom are fairly widespread. The subject matter just begs for Angst and Hurt/Comfort, so that's always a 'fun' thing to write about (irony). Romance; Alright guys, I don't usually write romance fics for fandoms other than ones containing random talking animals, but FMA is my exception, so all's golden. Action/Adventure might come later when I'm feeling up to a multi-chapter story, as I have trouble putting that genre into a oneshot. Humor also is fun to write, with all the interesting characters, so expect some of that.

Current OTPs: Ed/Winry, Ed/Heidrich.

-The Hunger Games-

Oh lordy. I love this series with all my (itsy bitsy) heart, it has quite an interesting plot that I'd never seen before -cough-BattleRoyal-cough-. Though I must admit that I have no history of writing in the fandom, I'm hoping to change that soon :). My favorite aspect to write about is always life in the arena, so that's what most (if not all) of the pieces will be about. Genres: Action, Adventure, Angst, and Tradgedy. Sorry guys, no romance unless specifically requested.

Daww... An old guilty pleasure. I do have to admit that it's ridiculously fun to write with all those characters, and they all seem to have different personalities. I fandomize (new word?) all the sub-series, so expect some of each. Genres: Action, Adventure, Supernatural, Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Humor, and yes, this is a favored Romance fandom ;)
