When Hermione made a choice at the end of her forth year, she foresaw a number of consequences to her actions. She foresaw losing her friendships with Harry and Ron, and she foresaw all of the danger. She didn't foresee falling in love with a woman who resented her for her decisions, and she most certainly didn't anticipate that love would turn out to be more powerful than memory.

This is a multi-chapter, ongoing, story of how Jenny and Vastra met, fell in love, became a couple, and eventually married. I did not stick to canon 100%, that is intentional. "Can you be good for máthair, mo grá?" Minerva asks the small child with unshed tears pooling in her eyes, handing her a bag with her necessities and a letter. "You remember what to do right?" She nods. "Make sure you give this back to mommy when you see me next okay?" Minerva says crouching down to look into her eyes. "It's a game and if you give it back to máthair you'll win!"

When Hermione is almost killed by Bellatrix Lestrange in the battle at Hogwarts, Minerva makes a split second decision to save her star pupil's life. How did she manage to save the young woman just seconds before she was hit with the killing curse, and what will be the consequences for Minerva's actions?

Omegaverse, When Kya drags Lin to a resort town she has no idea that she'd fall prey to Kya's heat and wind up mating with her. But when Kya tells her a couple weeks later that she's pregnant she's forced to make some life changing decisions.
