Well... Hey!? I'm Mags and I like Fanfiction...

I'm an introvert so... This is awkward. Sorry to disappoint those who actually take the time to read these Profiles that I have no idea how to describe myself and start a paragraph without creating awkwardness...

Hetalia

Uh... I also like Hetalia? That's something... I mean is history with personified countries and hilarity, what's not to like? I personally love history itself, especially WWII. I read up on a lot of it and basically had a really good idea how everything was during that. History use to be one of the most serious and delicate subject I've ever encountered but then this thing called Hetalia stepped in. I was like, *Okay... This is not my thing...* to the first episode. Then curiosity got the better of me and dragged me down this dark hole of obviation. At first, it's just five minute episodes and I have the time to go for five episodes a day or so but...

God I was wrong...

Five minutes suddenly became an unstoppable urge to finish the first season. Then... There was the second season and after watching almost all of the episodes, I was like OK... That was better than I gave in credit for but it's still not better than Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Then, there came fanfiction... Which ruined my life. There were some that were so good, so so good, it was like Harry Potter level but without all the Harry and Potter. But at that time I was just a history loving fan who minded her own business until a friend who had no idea what Hetalia is pointed out how hot England and Germany was. I was like... Yeah... Then, there was character songs I heard which officially pulled me into the Underworld. Lastly, communities about Hetalia.

And that my friends, is how I got sucked into the fandom and the exact reason why I'm here.

I like well... Not a lot of stuff since the 'drag' after finishing a series really cuts deep and it takes a good few months to heal up. Maybe even years so I'm very slow on Fandoms. I'm a HUGE Potterhead so keep that in mind.

Fanfiction and Fanfic Writing

I love fanfic, it's one of the best things that had ever happened in my life, right next to YouTube, books and being born. Although I have a problem, I only read about my favourite characters. I'm sure that's what a lot of people do but I really only read about them. If the main character is not them, or their there as moral support. Nuh-uhn I won't read it. There are some Fanfic with the best fan created story line out there, there's also amazing one shots that actually drove me to tears once. And there are also hilarious crack fics and etc. etc.

Recently, I had a problem. I ran out of Fanfics. Since I read way too much and my favourite character with my currently obsessed Fandom(Hetalia) has very few angsty Fanfics so I'm at lost at what to do right now. So I'm writing my own right now.

When I first encountered Hetalia, I've expected very emotional stuff. But got the exact opposite (Until the American Revolutionary War Episode). I just wish that there were more episodes like this, to really sink into each character's depressing background. I just really wish for a sad moment where they actually show China's scar in the anime series or when Austria was in a wheelchair due to war.

So, I've started a series called 'The War' and hope to finish it. It's basically what'll happen to Hetalia if the show had gone the depressing path of history. So it's a very intricate description (Hopefully accurate) of WWII, what happened, how the country itself react to it and how the actually human character in each personified nation's thoughts. I want to show the tears of betrayal when Japan invaded China, the despair when Germany continuously bombed England and how hopeless France was when he was taken over.
